Announcement   I paint with intention. I teach with intention.
My intentions, when I paint are:
• to meditate (align with the process of painting to experience peace and joy)
• to learn (every painting is a new experience with a new focus of intention)
• to grow (practice seeing, feeling and thinking to develop better seeing, deeper feeling, clearer thinking)
• to teach (by sharing my process other painters may get their questions answered, and/or they will respond with feedback and teach me!)

All of my paintings come with a story of what inspired me and why I chose to create this artwork.

The small original art paintings are inexpensive, easy to find wall-space for, easy to ship, and make wonderful unique gifts.

This Etsy shop is a wonderful place to offer my artworks.

Some of the works offered here come from my teaching blog at www(dot)kimvictoria(dot)com where you can see the progression of the creation of the painting along with my explanation of what I am doing at each stage. If you are a painter looking for fresh ideas and techniques, please do check out my free teaching blogs.

Thank you for visiting my shop,
Kim Victoria

I love this picture and I love this artist. Both paintings I ordered look even better in person, and arrived quickly. The artist was extremely communicative and nice. I appreciate that she also sent little pamphlets about the creative process behind the paintings she sent me. Would definitely recommend buying from her and would buy from her again in the future :)

About

Painting With Intention as Method & Philosophy of Artistic Creation and Teaching

I paint with intention. I teach with intention.
My intentions, when I paint are:
• to meditate (I become found in the process, and experience peace and joy)
• to learn (every painting is a new experience with a new focus of intention)
• to grow (practice seeing, feeling and thinking to develop better seeing, deeper feeling, clearer thinking)
• to teach (by sharing my process other painters may get their questions answered, and/or they will respond with feedback and teach me!)

All of my paintings come with a story of what inspired me and why I chose to create this artwork.

This Etsy shop is a wonderful place to offer my small and demonstration works. Watch for an announcement about my gallery of larger works.

Some of the works offered here come from my teaching blog at www(dot)kimvictoria(dot)com where you can see the progression of the creation of some paintings, along with my explanation of what I am doing at each stage. If you are a painter looking for fresh ideas and techniques, please do check out my free teaching blogs.

I am inspired by nature, natural structure and geometry in all subjects that interest me, with the intention of creating visual movement and emotion. My goal is to create intentional paintings that tell a story via all the techniques and thought processes that I have learned and am still learning. If a viewer of my work feels pulled in to the image and feels something, I have been successful. I also experiment with new ideas and methods to expand what I appreciate and know, and also because I am a teacher, and want to encourage all types of painters.

I teach fine art thinking through my art teaching & coaching programs, Painting With Intention, with a goal of helping frustrated artists discover their deeper emotional and spiritual vision and express it in their paintings with ease, using thought processes of the Old Masters of art, understanding the visual language, and unencumbered by blocks and self-doubt.

Many of the Old Masters of Art knew amazing secrets about how to convey feelings through their brushwork and composition, much of which has become lost, simply because they didn’t write about their most profound knowledge. I learned how to see these secrets, am developing my own ability in this way, and love to teach other artists how to see and use these ways of creating illusions in 2-dimensional painting.

I also enjoy drawing and created Celtic art rubber stamps as Highlander Celtic Stamps beginning in 1997 and continuing to this day. With the blossoming interest in coloring, I created Celtic Mandala Coloring book and cards. To see and purchase these artist tools please visit the Etsy shop Triskelt.

I love to experiment and try new things in art. Many of my pieces are small and various, so Etsy is an ideal place to offer them. You never know what my creative muse might come up with. I am also the creator of art rubber stamps which are being offered on Etsy through 2 shops: unmounted rubber on my other shop HighlanderStamps, and mounted stamps on my business partner's shop Triskelt. Thank you for visiting!

  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
  • Items on sale
I have a no-questions-asked return policy. Please let me know within 7 days of receipt of your wish to return. Cancellations must occur through Etsy conversations BEFORE shipment, otherwise it becomes a refund matter.
Shipping
For all small paintings and items to be delivered in the U.S., I use USPS (United States Postal Service) First Class or Priority Mail. Larger works may require special packaging, which will be explained in the information provided with the specific listing.

Combined shipments: I love saving my buyers money on shipping costs. Since it's difficult to set up actual shipping charges on a multiple-item sale before checkout, especially with paintings, I may refund shipping over-payments through PayPal, however it is best to communicate with me right away when placing an order, so we can discuss shipping options.

For international shipments, please note that any customs, VAT, or other import charges are paid by the buyer. All Etsy shipments are marked "merchandise" on the customs form and the stated value is the order total. You must request, via a conversation, information for international shipping.

As most of the merchandise I am offering is artwork I will be including insurance and delivery confirmation in the shipping charges for those pieces.
Additional policies and FAQs
I have done my best to scan, photograph and describe my artwork including materials and presence or absence of framing. Visualize where you want to display a piece, if for yourself, to help make your selection.

Message me with any questions you have.

If you live in Northern California, message me about pick-up or delivery options.

For fine art prints of some of my paintings, please look me up at FineArtAmerica.

people portraiture
landscape/seascape from the client’s photos (such as a family’s historical location)
stencil design for wall decor
murals
art rubber stamp design

Please start a conversation (convo) with me with your idea.

Gift wrapping and packaging

Small paintings are carefully wrapped and boxed for safe shipment. I would be happy to gift-wrap the box for you, before placing in the shipper box. I would also be happy to include a gift card with your message upon request.

Large paintings require more packaging and may or may not be practical to gift wrap. Please inquire with the specific piece of artwork you are interested in for details on what I can do for you regarding gift wrapping.

International shipping information

I welcome your inquiry regarding shipment of my art to your location. We would need to have a conversation about packaging, cost, and the service required for you to receive my larger pieces.

I don’t have international shipping turned on in the listings for art larger than 12” in any direction due to the cost, which can be quite high, for Priority Mail International or FedEx.

I have shipped to 20 countries including: Canada, Scotland, Ireland, England, Europe, Australia, New Zealand.

Please start a conversation with me regarding the specific piece of art your art interested in having shipped internationally.

Thank you!

Use of art for a logo or product for resale

All original art I create is copyright protected and CANNOT be used for a logo. Logos are, themselves, copyright images and must be custom designed, which I could do for you. Any artwork used as part of a product for resale, including on labels, must have a contractual agreement in place before use.

If something I’ve created inspires you I suggest you contact the office to talk to me about a custom contract. Email inquiries through Etsy conversations or to info@kimvictoria.com and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
