Wearable Art Jewelry from KIMILI

KIMILI is a start-up from an amazing little country Georgia, known for its rich history, traditions, beautiful nature, friendly people, and cradle of wine. The skills of making handmade jewelry have passed from generation to generation for over 1,200 years but still remain hidden from the world.

KIMILI's ambition is to bring Georgian cloisonné enamel jewelry, crafted with ancient technique, persevered through generations, to the world. Georgian cloisonné enamel is not just jewelry but each item is simply a piece of wearable art. All the items are purely handmade involving a couple of craftsmen and enormous effort.

At KIMILI we couple old traditions with modern trends. Our design team is a mix of established, nationally well known to upcoming young designers ready to break traditional boundaries. Each item goes through an extensive screening process to ensure quality.

We also love to work on Custom Orders. So if you want to make something special, we are ready to help you, just drop us an email.

WHAT DOES "KIMILI" MEAN?

It took a while to find the right brand name for our Wearable Art Jewelry. I wanted the name to show the Georgian Origin with the modern twist, just like our jewelry. I started going through old dictionaries of Georgian language, words that are not nowadays much used and that's when KIMILI was discovered. KIMILI in Georgian language means "Jewelry".

    Owner, Customer Service, Designer

I believe that jewelry has a special meaning for every individual. Fashion trends come and go but the beauty, handicraft and uniqueness of jewelry is forever, especially when you create a wearable art. And at KIMILI that is simply what we try to do.

  • Maia

    Curator, Shipper

Love of nature gave me inspiration to write poetry of flowers, colors and love. Now, each time I prepare a package to send, I am thinking about a story that jewelry and owner will tell to each other when they meet. May all the owners be very happy!

  • Deyko

    Designer, Maker

Deyko is a lead designer at KIMILI. Being a painter all her works in enamel have very intricate details. She is a master of Art and Graphics and loves experiments with design, materials, and aesthetics.
