Small Town Girl has Fun!

For me the word "shop" is verb, not a noun. I love to go on treasure hunts and find truly awesome pieces. If the old saying is true, then I guess I really never work a day in my life!

Returns and exchanges
Your satisfaction is my number one concern. Therefore I do have a 7 day return policy if my item is not as described in the listing. Please ask any questions and read all details before purchasing. I always describe my items to the best of my ability and point out any flaws that I can see. If there is something missing from my description, please contact me so I may add it, thanks!
EXCLUDING CUSTOM ORDERS. Custom Orders are a personal request to make a design exclusively for you. Manufacturing Defects will gladly be satisfied, No Refunds, Exchanges or Store Credit on Custom Work or Any alterations made on Jewelry including Sizing.
We accept all major credit cards through Etsy's credit card processing. We also gladly accept PayPal payments. If you would like to pay through a check, money order, or other way, please send us a message.

If you don't have a Paypal account and don't wish to open one, you can pay using your credit card... basically it's like checking out as a "guest"! Here is a handy illustrated guide from Etsy's Help topics:

I offer a free layaway program on all items. Customers must put a 20% down payment in order to secure the purchase. The customer must pay off the remainder over three months in a monthly payment program. For instance, if an item is $1,000.00 the customer must put a down payment of $200.00 and pay an additional $266.66 per month for three months.

If the customer decides they do not want the item, the down payment(s) become store credit.

The layaway process is pretty easy. I do 90-day same as cash. All you have to do is put at least 20% down and then pay one-third of the remaining balance every month until the item is paid-in-full (at which time I will immediately ship it to you).

Simply find the item you like, click on “ADD TO CART”, and when you get to the payment options screen select “OTHER”, NOT PayPal. Then all you have to do is check-out. This will remove the item from my listings so no one else can buy it. Once you do that, go to my PayPal account ( and make your 20% down payment (you and I will get a receipt from PayPal).

Let me know if you would rather make your payments through Etsy vice Paypal and I will set up payment listings.

Lastly, please make each monthly as you did the first. Please let me know if you would like to be invoiced each month.

We ship within 2-4 working days to North America via USPS 2nd day shipping. Faster shipping methods are available, upon request. Please contact us for pricing and timelines.

Purchases can be shipped to almost any country.

The carrier we use changes, but it will usually be USPS International. We ship ALL packages insured and declared for their full value. Packages will be shipped within 1-3 business days after payment is received (unless we are sizing a ring), and packages should arrive to Customs in 3-6 business days.

The customer is responsible for all duties, taxes, and fees associated with Customs. If you're interested in getting an estimate on what the duties will be on a certain item, we recommend the website to help you estimate this additional cost.

Also, please be aware that if we ship an item to you, and you refuse shipment, you are still responsible for the Customs fees! If you were unaware at the time of purchase that there were additional fees at Customs, please contact us so we can come to a solution!

All international orders are sent with original invoice, so full value for items must be claimed and we can not claim a lesser value on your items to avoid duties and taxes.

We would like to get your package to you as soon as possible, but please be aware that all Custom's clearance events are different, and we CAN NOT guarantee that your package will reach you by a certain date.

Customs may delay clearance of your item. Customs may also require you to pick your item up and it can not be delivered to your door. It differs on a case to case basis, so we can not guarantee what will happen at Customs, at that point it is out of our control. We will do everything we can on our end (i.e. making sure item descriptions are clear for declarations) to facilitate the process, but we are not responsible for what Customs chooses to do.

If you are an International customer, we would recommend looking up your countries' specific policies regarding Customs.

All International items are shipped for $80.00 (but could increase in some cases).
This $80.00 covers the shipping fees to your country and also the insurance for your item, but does NOT guarantee your package will be delivered to your door (in some cases, Customs requires that you pick an item up).

For International Shipments, we also require the customer's phone number, so that if Customs needs to contact you directly regarding your package, they can.

If you have any other questions regarding shipping, please don't hesitate to convo us!
Additional policies and FAQs
Kim’s guide to shopping successfully for jewelry online, and FAQs:

1. First, take a look at my photos! I try to show each piece clearly from several angles, so you can see exactly what you are getting. Look at the close-ups to evaluate condition and construction, and look at the far-away shots to get an idea of scale, and how the piece will look on your hand, in person.

2. Next, read the description: Please note metal type and content, markings, weights and measurements, stone quality and size. Ring size is APPROXIMATE (one-half size either way...unfortunately sizing mandrels are not standardized). If I have left any information out of the listing, or you're not sure how to interpret it…please ask, and I'll be glad to help.

3. If you're still interested, read the shipping info, payment terms, store policies and other info.

Please understand all the items I sell are vintage or antique and WILL SHOW WEAR appropriate to their age and material! In general, please do not expect a vintage ring to look like a new's not new. This is part of the beauty and charm of vintage!

Also, I am not a gemologist. I have done my best to describe gems to the best of my ability. In many cases I solicit the opinion of qualified persons. I would encourage you to ask any pertinent questions prior to purchasing. Regardless, I offer a 100% return policy should any item be unintentionally described incorrectly.

Most pieces of jewelry look large in magnified pics, and it can be a shock to get a piece in hand and realize it's much smaller than you expected!! Plot them out on paper if it's important to you. I do my best to give dimensions and descriptors in the listing. I've done my best to provide accurate size data on all pieces. If an item listing doesn't have the measurements you need, simply convo me...I will send them to you.

All precious metals are tested and guaranteed prior to listing.

I use a digital caliper to measure the width and depth of my gems. Occasionally, my measurements may be slightly of due to inability to accurately measure the depth of a stone due to its being in a setting.

Computer monitors display colors differently, so it's possible colors may end up being different in person from what your monitor showed. Unfortunately, I can't do anything about that!

NOTE: it's difficult to photograph shiny things, particularly clear stones like diamonds. Please go by my description of the diamond (color, clarity and any remarks) rather than by how it looks in the photo, as the photos may show orange or yellow color artifact and/or reflection haze.

I am not a GIA certified diamond appraiser. I do however have a fair amount of experience with diamonds and offer a fairly accurate color & clarity opinion. All diamonds are louped and graded as per the GIA guidelines. My grades are accurate UP OR DOWN TWO GRADES. Regardless, I offer a 100% satisfaction guaranteed return policy if your jeweler finds my grading grossly inaccurate.

I advise you to shop around for a jeweler with a positive attitude who's had experience with the kind of piece you are purchasing from me, and who's licensed, bonded and insured. If your jeweler alters or damages the piece, I cannot accept a return. I cannot reimburse you for any work done on any piece. My items are priced "as-is" taking their condition into account.

Sure! I will hold or reserve an item for you for an agreed-upon amount of time. If you do not purchase at that time, then I will remove the hold/reserve.

Sure! Make what you feel is a fair offer! If I can't meet your price, I will counteroffer with my best.

I take photos in daylight without flash, under an Ott Light array. Ott Lights use a full-spectrum bulb that has the same wavelengths as natural light. I do not digitally alter my photos. Please let me know if you’d like additional photos.

Please notice I do not use a "background burn", like many jewelry sellers. As a shopper I really dislike this as it tends to wash out details in a piece of jewelry. My photography is not slick-magazine flashy, but in most cases you are getting a very good look at the item compared to those sites and sellers who "burn" backgrounds or show pieces overexposed on a white backdrop.

I am not a jeweler or gemologist. I am simply a woman that loves jewelry! I do, however, test all metals, measure gems and stones using digital calipers, have a gem tester and a fair amount of experience identifying stones. I work with a GIA certified gemologist master jeweler when I need further information on a piece. I have experience grading diamonds, but I will not grade them above SI1 myself, just to err on the side of caution for my buyers.

Thank you for visiting my Etsy shop! I'm somewhat newer to Etsy, but I've been selling online since 2007. You can look forward to a safe transaction with an experienced seller!
