Welcome to My Story.

My name is Kinga Martin, I was born and raised in Poland, lived for extended time in Italy, and now I call the Easthampton, Massachusetts my Home.

From early childhood, I was drawn in to the world of picture books, magazines and comics. I was greatly encouraged by my teachers to study Art, and even that I haven't done that, I got a very extensive education form my art teachers, who, had seen my potential and had given me the strong basics for self development in this field.

In 2016, I have received a gift form my dear friend Kathy, consistent of watercolor paint and brushes. I haven't painted in watercolor before, but I had become my favorite medium in no time. The Etsy shop come as a window to showcase my work. I was encouraged by my dear friend Pam to open the shop.

The name "KingaRooArt'' come form a nick name given to me at my work place by my supervisor at the time, Peggy. I didn't want my shop to have the common name, so I had a feeling that this might be what I envisioned.

I have worked with many authors on illustrating books like "Yama Mimi'', "First Child'', Paisley the Polar Bear", and the latest novel "Becoming JoJo MacBean".
I have been interview by local newspapers and media.
I will say I'm an artist, who is self thought and has love for detail and color. Nature is my inspiration, and I have brought it to the next level.
I'm always working on painting, developing my skills, and the Etsy shop helps me to support my "calling". All products in my shop are made and designed by me.

This Shop had given me an opportunity to meet many great people, and ship my products to places I haven't visit before.
It is great honor to ship one of my watercolors, cards or tote bag to a customer, that had fall in love with my artwork.
