Announcement    2018 has been so very difficult for me. It began with my husband's leukemia diagnosis in March. He was fortunate to have been treated by wonderful medical teams, both here in Hawaii, and then in Seattle, WA. It was hard, and a struggle, but he was a fighter and persevered in the face of adversity. Sadly, he suffered major complications from his double-cord-blood (stem-cell) transplant, and passed on in November 2018. We are broken right now--I miss my husband & my children miss their dad. I realize our time here on Earth is temporary, happiness is fleeting, and sorrow touches everyone--but that makes life all the more precious. It's what you do with the time you have that counts...

You can imagine that I'm chomping at the bit to usher in the new year. In with the old, out with the new! I'm hoping that 2019 holds better days for everyone.

To those of you who may have contacted me around the time of my loss, I apologize as things were hectic and very real, so please feel free to reach out again.

In love and peace,
Shannon

Welcome to my shop on Etsy. I offer hand-assembled custom eyechips for dolls. I personally use these eyechips in my own Pullips & Company dolls (Pullips, Taeyangs, Isuls & Dals).

My shop policies are outlined below--please read them carefully before you purchase so that there is no confusion or misunderstanding My goal is for you to be happy with your purchase--If you have any questions or are unclear about anything, feel free to contact me! I don't bite--and my feeling is that the only silly questions are the ones that are never asked. :)

    Accepted payment methods

    Returns and exchanges
    Q. CAN I GET A REFUND IF I AM NOT SATISFIED?

    A. It's my goal for you to love KiraKira Chips as much as I do. I will make exchanges based on a case-by-case basis. Please be aware that computer monitors display colors differently, so hopefully what you see on the screen matches what you get in real life--buyer's remorse about color selection doesn't qualify for an exchange.

Please note that the following conditions apply when requesting an exchange:

*Exchanges are accepted within reason. If the item is damaged or defective, for example, I'll gladly grand an exchange.
    * Please CONVO me if you want to make an exchange so I know to expect your item.
*You are responsible for paying for all shipping costs associated with your exchange.
*Custom items--one where I had to create a special listing for you--are not refundable. They can be exchanged if they were received damaged, though.
*The item should be returned well-protected, and in its original packaging. Please return it within 14 days of receiving the items in original unused condition.
*The exchange will be processed only when I've received the item you sent back. I'll send you a message as soon as I get it.
*Photo evidence is required in all situations where you would like an exchange.
    Payment
I accept PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, Discover Card via Direct Checkout and Etsy Gift Cards.

"Custom orders" and "Custom listings" are are of colors I don't currently have in stock. You may use the "Request custom item" button and we can discuss what you would like. These types of items are "made-to-order". The listing would need to be purchased and paid for before I will start work on your order.

For custom designs (where I will need to digitally alter my files to create an eyechip), there is a $10.00 per design charge in addition to the cost of the eyechips. This type of listing also needs to be paid for in full before I can start work on your order. So a typical cost of this type would be $10.00 custom charge + $6.50 eyechips + shipping= anywhere from $20.00 to $25.00 shipped.

Custom orders will be kept up in my shop for 1 week. If no payment is made by then, I may delete the listing from my shop. I also reserve the right to not accept any more custom item requests from you in the future.
    Shipping
    Q. WHERE DO YOU SHIP FROM & HOW?

    A. I ship from Hawaii, USA via USPS 1st class mail for both domestic (within the USA) and international shipments. Tracking is included for domestic shipments only. There are other shipping options available, please convo me if you would like me to alter a listing for you that reflects the other shipping options such as USPS Priority, or Registered.

    Q. THE SHIPPING CHARGE COSTS MORE THAN THE ITEM ITSELF. WHY IS IT SO HIGH?

    A. It's actually a shipping & supplies charge. Part of the shipping price listed includes the bubble wrap, padded mailer, eyechip packaging, gas/mileage for going to the post office, and insurance.

Shipping is the same no matter how many items are purchased--pay shipping for the first item in your order and then each item in the same order ships free. Thus, it makes the most sense to place one bigger order instead of several little orders. It might be worthwhile to do a "group order"--that is, you and a bunch of friends going in together to order some eyechips and then splitting the shipping amongst yourselves.

    Q. HOW CAN I ENSURE THAT MY PACKAGE WILL FIND ITS WAY TO THE CORRECT ADDRESS?

    A. I will ship to the address on file with etsy. Please be sure that your etsy shipping address & PayPal shipping address match and are correct.

    Q. WHEN WILL MY STUFF ARRIVE?

    A. I can give you only my best guess, as anything can happen after your item leaves my post office (i.e. inclement weather, heavy mailing times such as Christmas & Tax Season or customs delays). Shipping time can be quite long depending on the country you live in. I need your patience and understanding. In my past experience, it typically takes between 3-5 days within the USA or 2-4 weeks for you to receive your items internationally. There have been cases where some international orders were received after 4 months time. Please be patient. Delays may also happen during peak mailing seasons such as Christmas or Tax Season.

I will ship off your item within the time frames given on my listing. If lost packages concern you, please send me a convo and I will upgrade your shipping to Priority Mail; additional charges will apply.

    Q. WHAT DOES IT MEAN THAT MY PACKAGE WILL BE "READY TO SHIP IN 3-5 DAYS"?

    A. It means that I will have your items ready to ship/be taken to the post office within that time frame. The 3-5 days does not factor in actual mailing times by the postal service of my country and yours.

    Q. HOW ARE MY EYECHIPS PACKAGED?

    A. I pack your order in a sealed mini-zipped plastic bag. If you want each pair of eyechips packaged individually, I can do that but you have to let me know. The items are then bubble-wrapped and sent in a padded/bubble mailer.

    Q. WHAT ABOUT THOSE CUSTOM FEES OR DELAYS AT CUSTOMS?

    A. Customs Duties fees or import taxes are fees that you (the buyer) are responsible for. It is quite possible that you may be required to pay additional charges when the package reaches your nation's customs office. Unfortunately, I have no control over delays or charges levied by customs.

    Q. WHAT DO YOU USE TO MAKE YOUR EYECHIPS?
    A. I use 12mm glass cabochons, photographic paper and glaze.

    Q. WILL YOU SELL ME YOUR DIGITAL FILES SO I CAN MAKE MY OWN EYECHIPS?
    A. Sorry, but I do not release my digital files.

    Q. WILL THE EYECHIPS FIT PERFECTLY IN MY PULLIP / DAL / ISUL / TAEYANG?
    A. The custom eyechips I am selling will NOT be a perfect, factory fit. There may be a tiny gap in the eyemech but a little white craft glue is a huge help in keeping the cabochon eyechip in your doll's eye-mechanism.

Some of the cabochons I use are higher domed and may interfere with the blinking function or eyelid movement. I do not guarantee that your doll will still blink when using these eyes. Most of them can still blink with the KiraKira chips--I find that it may help to not screw in the eyemech all the way into the faceplate. I try to find the lowest domed cabs possible, but with glass, not everything will be exactly identical.

    DISCLAIMER:
Please keep in mind that because these are hand-assembled items/craft product, perfection is not possible. I will do my best and I put a lot of time and effort into my items before I list them in my shop--but they will not be flawless. These items are tiny, and pose a risk of choking to your pets and little ones. Tiny imperfections or flaws should be expected and accepted. If you are a perfectionist or finicky buyer, you will save us both the inevitable headaches if you just don't shop here.

    THANK YOU SO MUCH! :)
