Hi! I'm Michelle ; )
Growing up, I always experimented with making skincare for myself. As a kid, I spent hours making and mixing new things for my skin. I was fascinated to learn which ingredients I could use to make products for my face. Then I grew up and of course, had to work. And I did for many years. Later, I got married and had two children. My husband and I decided I would stay home, but of course, I couldn’t just do ‘nothing’. I started making skincare for myself and my family. The next thing I knew I was making lotions, lip balms, and bath bombs. Then I got into soap making. That was it for me! I was hooked!!
Four years ago, when I got really serious about what I was doing, I thought about joining the Etsy team. I was so scared! After all, I had a family and didn’t want anything to go wrong. I was opening myself up to the world. Really, it was a big step in my life. I have to say, I am glad I did it! It has taken me many places and let my creativity come to life. I’ve met a lot of wonderful people along the way.
I enjoy the process so much and it truly is an art form for me. I enjoy sharing my skincare with customers around the world. It’s very satisfying to receive feedback from my customers about how my product has helped them in some way. I love going to local craft markets and sharing my art work, my skincare, with others. It makes me happy that they are so excited to see all my products and creations! Sometimes they have difficulty choosing, so they purchase 6 soaps, or 4 lotions! People often ask "How do you come up with these ideas?" I explain that I am like a chef - I take ingredients and create wonderful products. The ideas just come to me and I enjoy everything about it. This is the gift that God has given me and I just want to share it with the world!
