Kitobby was born from an obsession with colorful ribbon and whimsical decor.
It all started with my love of decorating for Christmas. I just adore all of the vibrant colors and whimsical decorations, transforming my home into a winter wonderland each year that would create such a warm and magical feeling. As a mom of 3 kids and working a full-time job, I was spending a lot of time and money running around to places like Michael’s and Hobby Lobby trying to buy all of the supplies that I needed. I knew there had to be a more efficient and cost-effective way to fuel my obsession.
After the Christmas holiday, I was searching online for a kit that would have everything I needed to make a wreath for Valentine’s day. I was surprised to see how few wreath kits were available and those that were available were quite expensive. That’s when the light bulb went off, my ah hah moment!
I had spent the last 25+ years in the for-profit higher education sector and was ready to make a huge leap into a new career that would set my creative soul free. I was determined to create kits that would save my customers both time and money. Time that could be better spent creating beautiful works of art to be enjoyed for personal use or given as gifts. And so Kitobby was born.
My goal is to provide quality materials at lower costs, easy to understand tutorials, and exceptional customer service.
