This yarn is AMAZING. It is seriously one of the most beautiful skeins of yarn I have ever owned or seen. The base is very soft, and the yarn smells AWESOME! I cannot say enough good things! The owner is a total sweetheart as well, I love everything about my purchase!

Falling Down the Fiber Hole

If you are here, you are a fiber junkie. It's ok, so am I! I grew up around my grandmother who always had a purse full of crochet needles and afghans coming off her hook faster than you could say 'daaaang'. When my grandmother got older and became ill I thought it was time to learn how to crochet to make HER an afghan for once since she blessed us all these years with ones she made. I taught myself to crochet and made her an afghan. It wasn't the prettiest afghan you've ever seen but I could tell that she was so proud that a grand child picked up her passion for fiber arts.

Fast forward one year and I took a trip to a local yarn store. I was really bummed that I could not afford some of the lovely yarns there so I thought... Maybe I can make it myself! And down the fiber hole I fell....

Fast forward another year and my grandmother is sadly gone but I'm sure she would be very proud of my endeavors. I now not only dye fiber and textiles but spin my own yarn as well.

In the future I would like to overcome my fear of public speaking and teach dyeing classes at a local art studio here in Chico. I also plan on giving one on one spinning lessons. I can also be found at many of the fiber events throughout Northern California and Oregon so if you see a booth for West of Paradise, please come say hello!!

Returns and exchanges
I want to provide the best products for customers that I can. If there is a problem with your purchase please contact me as soon as possible for resolution. Custom orders are not eligible for returns.
Payment should be made within 24 hours of placing order. Your item will not be shipped unless it is paid for in full. Cancellation also should take place within 24 hours and if an item is shipped before you cancel the item must be shipped back to West of Paradise at the buyers expense.
Shipping is calculated by Etsy. There is a small handling fee applied to all orders to compensate for packaging, printing ink, fuel and time to process shipments.

If your shipping calculation minus the handling fee is $1 or more than it should be I will promptly return the overage to the customer via PayPal after printing label assuming I can get in contact with the user. No one wants to pay more for shipping than they should.

I try to ship my orders as soon as possible. I give myself a window of 1-3 business days to ship not including holidays (No postal service) to ship packages however usually I assemble the order immediately and ship first thing in the morning.

For international customers, any custom tax or duty fees is the responsibility of the customer but I am more than happy to ship to our friends around the world!
