Minha loja é uma mistura dos meus muitos interesses diferentes - minha longa história de videogame, minha dedicação ao estudo e prática budistas, e meu amor por encontrar beleza no mundano.

Comecei fazendo laços de bolo de peças de computador recicladas e calcinhas, uma moda inspirada no meu avô do Meio-Oeste, que eu acho que pode ser atualizada para o século 21 e gêneros cruzados. Quando comecei a consertar e revender sistemas de videogames como outro negócio paralelo, encontrei mais grist para o moinho com os resíduos desse negócio - então as abotoaduras, brincos e colares nes nasceram. Como praticante budista, descobri que havia tantas malas que não se encaixavam nos requisitos simples que muitas pessoas queriam. Eu pensei que poderia fazer melhor e me sinto feliz por ter criado um produto que é bonito e funcional.

My shop is a mishmash of my many different interests - my long history of video gaming, my dedication to Buddhist study and practice, and my love of finding beauty in the mundane.

I began by making bolo ties from recycled computer parts and knickknacks, a fashion inspired by my Midwestern grandfather, that I think can be updated for the 21st century and cross genders. When I started fixing and reselling video game systems as another side business I found more grist for the mill with the waste from that business - so the NES cufflinks, earrings, and necklaces were born. As a Buddhist practitioner I found there were so many malas that didn't fit the simple requirements many people wanted. I thought I could do better and I feel happy I've created a product that is both beautiful and functional.
