Nothing says "I care" like a handmade gift. I've been knitting & crocheting since I was a kid. They're addictive & I never want to be cured! So why not share what I make with others?

Many of the items I sell can be shipped in padded envelopes via USPS First Class. Larger items - anything over 13 ounces - will be shipped via USPS Parcel Post.

About

Sometimes I think I was born with a pair of knitting needles in my hands.

Properly practiced, knitting soothes the troubled spirit, and it doesn't hurt the untroubled spirit, either. ~Elizabeth Zimmerman

The words of this wise woman ring true every time I pick up my knitting needles. I love to knit and crochet. Troubled or untroubled in spirit, such crafts are therapeutic. And the fact that I'm creating something useful and beautiful in the process is a blessing in and of itself. I can take needles or hook and yarn almost anywhere - including the classroom.

In March 2009, a friend from church told my mother about Etsy, who in turn told me. It wasn't long after that I was in business running an online shop from Toadsuck, Arkansas. I love the opportunity to share my talent of working with yarn to make handmade gifts for others.

I first learned how to crochet when I was eleven. My first crochet project was a Native American doll dress. I like the complicated projects. I learned to knit about two years later. My first project there was the expected scarf - a green one that I gave to my grandmother. As far as I know, she still has it today.

I was hooked.

Nothing says "I care about you" like something knit by hand for a loved one.

I've been knitting and crocheting since my pre-teen years and will never fall out of love with either. If I am found without a project in my hands, I'm either out of things to do (a highly unlikely thing), or I'm giving my hands a rest.

~~@~~Christmas Stocking orders~~@~~

The perfect time to get an early start on your Christmas shopping. If you want a personalized Christmas stocking, and I don't have it in stock, please place your order no later than October 15, to ensure the stocking is completed on time. These are knit by hand, and since I am in school, they take longer than they would otherwise.
