Hello Etsy folks! My name is Jenn and I am the sole proprietor of Knits4Comfort, where I hand-dye yarn and roving, spin yarn, and make knitted goods.

Ever since I was little, I have always been creative and thrived in art class where I thought it was so awesome to make things. Once I learned how to knit, I would knit small things for my friends, but never thought about making it into my passion.

Fast forward a few years and my aunt was diagnosed with her 4th stint of breast cancer. I made her a pair of fingerless mittens to keep her hands warm while she was going to her treatments. As she passed away in 2011, I was constantly reminded the comfort and warmth those mittens brought her.

In 2014 I was given the push of confidence from my best friend to begin my company, Knits4Comfort as I truly believe that knitted goods can make anyone's day better by feeling the love and good vibes that went into the piece. In 2015 I switch my company a bit where I decided to begin dyeing and spinning yarn so others can make their love ones knitted goods from the heart.
