About

From sheep to garment

A fellow member of our spinning Guild told me about etsy a few years ago and as I had already been selling well at craft fairs I decided it would be worth a try.
I started selling my dyed curls for spinning but soon discovered another use, hair for Blythe dolls. Some curls still get spun into luscious yarn but the majority of curls end up on gnomes in Switzerland, Blythe dolls in Thailand and My Little pony manes and tails in the UK.
I love to dye anything. My home is full of colour!
There's just me, I have no-one to answer to but have the support of my lovely family.

After almost a year of being unemployed I decided to take a leap of faith and become self employed doing what I have loved doing since I was 12. Building on my knitting skills, I now spin, dye, knit my own designs, make felt & weave the odd rug.

Hi
I'm an indie dyer who loves, lives and is surrounded by wool. Barely a day goes by when I'm not either knitting, felting, spinning or dyeing.

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy gift cards
Payment
I accept paypal and will accept uk cheques.
Shipping
I ship via the Post Office, small packet worldwide and first class UK. From April 1st 2013 I will be shipping 2nd class to UK to keep costs down. If you require items urgently I can use next day delivery for an additional charge in UK. With new pricing structure I will refund any postage that has been overpaid. Purchases between 101gms and 250gms will cost the same to deliver so I will be keeping bag sizes to below 80gms so they can be shipped at lower rate. Please contact me if you have any questions.
I cannot ship wool curls, alpaca or wool tops to Australia.
Refunds and Exchanges
If you are not happy with your goods I will happily refund the cost via paypal upon receipt of goods in original condition. I cannot refund postage. I hope you are completely satisfied with my service and look forward to hearing your feedback.
