About

From sheep to garment

A fellow member of our spinning Guild told me about etsy a few years ago and as I had already been selling well at craft fairs I decided it would be worth a try.
I started selling my dyed curls for spinning but soon discovered another use, hair for Blythe dolls. Some curls still get spun into luscious yarn but the majority of curls end up on gnomes in Switzerland, Blythe dolls in Thailand and My Little pony manes and tails in the UK.
I love to dye anything. My home is full of colour!
There's just me, I have no-one to answer to but have the support of my lovely family.

After almost a year of being unemployed I decided to take a leap of faith and become self employed doing what I have loved doing since I was 12. Building on my knitting skills, I now spin, dye, knit my own designs, make felt & weave the odd rug.
