About Knitwoolsocks Store
Welcome to Knitwoolsocks Store!
Hello everyone! I’m Solveiga but feel free to call me Solvia. As a preschool teacher who adores working with children, I’ve always found joy in the little things—like the warmth of a child’s smile or the simple pleasure of creating something beautiful. Nearly a decade ago, I decided to weave that joy into a new adventure by opening my shop. What started as a small dream has blossomed into a wonderful journey, blending my love for crafting with my entrepreneurial spirit.
Knitwoolsocks is more than just a store—it's a cozy corner of creativity where I pour my heart into every stitch. I create vibrant, one-of-a-kind socks that are as unique as the people who wear them. Each pair is a celebration of meticulous craftsmanship, designed with care, and made to be cherished.
My inspiration comes from everywhere: the boundless imagination of the children I teach, the ever-changing beauty of nature, and the rich traditions of textile arts. I take pride in using certified yarns and am committed to combining classic and modern patterns to create wearable art that feels timeless and fresh.
At Knitwoolsocks, my promise to you is simple: quality, creativity, and a touch of whimsy in every pair.
Wool has healing properties, and wool socks perform micro-massage, which improves blood circulation. It is advisable to wear for people who have circulatory problems, back pain, and spinal pain. I use pure natural yarn or yarn with a small percentage of synthetics for my items.
Reasons for using natural fibers:
Natural fibers are good for you and good for the environment.
Wool fibers ‘breathe’, keeping you comfortable in hot weather by absorbing perspiration and releasing it into the air.
When wool absorbs moisture, it produces heat, so if you go from a warm room into a cold, damp night wearing wool socks, the wool picks up water vapor from the air, keeping you warm. The reverse occurs when you go back into the warm room—the moisture in your jersey passes into the atmosphere, cooling you down. Tiny pores in the cuticle cells allow water vapor to pass through the wool fiber, making wool comfortable to wear in both warm and cool conditions.
I love to be in touch with customers and knit, especially for them :)
