They took a bit longer than expected to receive, but I love these unique slippers. They were worth the wait. Seller is very nice to deal with.

Hello ! Welcome to Kolokolo's world.

I'm a 25 years old international girl living in Nepal and trying to realise my (many) dreams. One of those is to make my own stuff for people so to bring them a litle moment of joy and surprise through their mailbox. Which, of course, also brings me some nice moments wile creating, realising and packing it.
Of course if my stitching machine wants to work and if i dont have to fight tomuch with the post office's inacurencies...

My philosophy is to enchance the local artcrafts that i myslef discover throughout my travels.
Since i am now staying in Nepal, i work with Himalayan and Indian fabrics.
However i am also looking forward to work with some african fabrics, one of my first loves.

--> If you want to know more about my long term project, please read my profile text.

I'm actually following Etsy's Holiday Boot Camp program to try to push my shop and my service to the level that i think it should deserve.

Please forgive the numerous changes that will occur on my shop during that time.
It's "work in progress".

If it works out, i will be able to propose you a range of nice creative and quality products for you to gift to your beloved ones during these holidays.

Hope this will be successful...

Enjoy the visit and,
Hope to see you soon !

Shipping Policy //

Shipping methods:
Shipping is done with local nepalese post in registered mail.
It usualy takes between 7 to 15 days.
+ a few days to prepare and pack the item.

If you need a quicker/safer option for the Holidays i can ship through UPS.
In this particular case please get in touch BEFORE purchasing the item.

NB: Since the international posting quality is uneven from one country to another and post mistakes can be done wile traveling till destination, the Kolokolo shop cant be kept responsible for the loss of international shipped items.

Please take incount the deadline for puchasing an item and expecting it to be there for Christmas:
- 20 days before the receiving date with nepalese shipping. (and i cant give any guarantee as some items can get lost for weeks)
-10 days before the receiving date with UPS.

I will send you a confirmation message on Etsy and the track number as soon as i will have posted your item.
Please note that the track number used by nepalese post to track the parcel is just tracking it in Nepal, so it wont bring you much information..

International Customs:
I didnt get anything to pay till now. So aparently no extra taxes (?)
Yeepee ! (?)
Refunds and Exchanges
Refund Policy //

As shipping costs to and from Nepal are quite expensive and unsecure, i dont encourage refunds. But if you are really unsatisfied with the product you can drop me an email and i will give you my adress to send it back in exchange of an other item or a voucher available in the Kolokolo shop.
Additional policies and FAQs
Textile care //

Please take note that the textiles that i used sofar are localy made and are therefore usualy bleeding. So PLEASE wash it with similar colors and preferabily in cold watter.
Even if i tryied to "fix" some of the fabrics (purple tobacco pouches), it is the first time and i am not quite sure about the efficacity of that fixing.
Moreover some of the purple tobacco pouches, who have thee layers including one thing "sutti" transparent one, are better not beeing washed at all since the amidonated sutty might soften down and break the nice cracky paper effect of the pouch.

Leather care //

Please avoit walking in the water with those sandals as they are done with thin leather wich will absorbe the watter and loose it's softnes.
However, if the shoe gets wet it might also make it's sole more strong, specially it you had walked in mud as it happened to me last nepalese festive season.
I thaught my shoes were f**ked but they werent !
Now i can wear them and they get used less quick than before.
But i wouldnt recomend to take the risk thow... :)

About the size of the sandal:
They tend to stretch a lot wile being worn. So dont hesitate to take one size smaller if ever you dont find you exact size in the shop.
"One size fits several".

Finaly, if someone has a shop somewhere and would like to buy wholesale, Kolokolo would be greatly interested, specially for the textile items.
Please do get in contact.

Voilà !

Hope you found answers to all of your questions folks.
If not, "you got my number, you got my name", I mean... you got that nice "contact" button on he left side of the page wich will be there just for you !

Have a nice shopping !
