Beautiful presentation of my favorite scents of Hawaii. I found these soaps in a shop in Kauai, fell in love, and was overjoyed to find them on Etsy. The scents are real, and not obnoxious, and the soaps last forever. They are nourishing and exfoliating. The packaging was presented as a gift. While I bought if for myself, I'd be confident sending this from the seller as a gift.

Love these soaps, bought my first at the hanalei farmers market and then came online to buy more. Super fast shipping and super soft skin (now mine). Mahalo for this great product

About

Soapmaking is an art that will continue to inspire me for a very very long time as nature is everywhere.

Shortly after moving to Kauai, I was inspired to create a soap that would complement my daughter Leah’s Kauai-based skincare line, ‘Leahlani Skincare’, and her upcoming Leahlani ‘signature fragrance’. While Leah was working on the formula for her fragrance, I got busy learning the art of soapmaking and in the process discovered a new passion. I enrolled in an esthetics course and obtained my esthetician license to give me a better understanding of the practices, products, and ingredients that are used in skin care. Studying about the different effects botanicals have on the skin triggered in me an interest in incorporating nature into my soapmaking, thus my initial idea evolved into ‘Kopa Kauai’ as a line of its own.

Soapmaking is an art that will continue to inspire me for a very very long time as nature is everywhere in so many cool forms and the combinations and benefits are endless. The memories I hold associated with different botanical smells excite me and spur me on to recreate past associations, it’s so much fun! Even the dustiest of walks and the subtlest moments of my past have a botanical smell and a memory worth pulling together to incorporate into my soaps, it’s opened up a whole new outlet for me that I love sharing. The fact that ‘Kopa Kauai’ has all been created to work with Leahlani products to do good things for your skin is a pure golden bonus! Anyone spending any time in the Hawaiian islands can associate in some way with the strong tropical fragrances that come straight from the earth and waters of the islands. When I’m not busy making soaps and working with Leahlani in Kauai, I’m in Seal Beach, California working with the aromatic native herbs of the Golden State, calling this small line of soap, ‘Kopa California’.
