Kotona's Shop Policies
Welcome to Kotona shop policies. These policies are written to answer any doubts or questions you might have. However I am always available to answer any of your questions or queries. Please feel free to send me your question by clicking on the 'contact seller' button on the left under my avatar.
Kotona accepts Etsy Direct Check out and Paypal. If you face any issues with checking out with either of these methods, please do let me know and I will do my best to assist you.
Unfortunately NO packages will be sent before payment is received in full. So if you are experiencing any problems with Etsy checkout or paying via paypal, just drop me a note.
Shipping is done every business day, so your item will be shipped within 1 to 2 business day as allowance for the time difference. No packages will be sent during public holidays and they might be different in Finland from where you are living. To check on our Public holidays - http://www.timeanddate.com/holidays/finland/
All items are sent via second class mail with Finland post (http://www.posti.fi/). First class piority mail is quoted on each listing as an extra for shipments outside of Finland. Quoted shipping cost includes cost of packaging and travel to post office.
The address I will be sending to is the address you provide during check out on Etsy. This might be the address that you have input while creating your account. If you need the item to be sent to a different address or you need to change the address, please contact me within 24 hours of placing your order.
Estimated shipping times from Helsinki, Finland to major cities based on Finland postal service website is as follows -
To other parts of Finland : 2-5 working days
To Other parts of Europe : 6-10 working days
To USA/Canada and other parts of the world : 10-15 working days
Priority upgrade is available for deliveries outside of Finland and will reduce shipping times by 3-5 work days.
Theses estimated shipping times are to major cities. Please allow 1-2 working days extra to suburbs.
These estimates does not include custom hold-ups or queries.
Please note that you are responsible for any customs, duty or tax charged by your specific country. All international packages are marked as 'fabric houseware'.
Although it rarely happens, delays caused by mail carrier and customs can happen. However they are beyond my control.

I am more than happy to accommodate any refund and exchanges that is fair and equally beneficial to us both. Please do contact me with your request.
