La familia siempre me ha dicho que necesito vender las cosas que hago, pero nunca sentí que sería rentable con todo el tiempo que tengo que dedicar a ello y hacer las cosas es más divertido cuando es personal.
Volví al ganchillo y encontré tiendas locales de hilados, luego aprendí a tejer y encontré Ravelry... así comenzó la locura. Comencé a acumular hilo muy rápidamente y vi todas las cosas maravillosas que la gente hace y, como soy un hágalo usted mismo, lo hice. Me encanta toda la emoción que tiene la comunidad de punto y alimenta mi impulso para hacer bolsos divertidos y útiles.
No soy un bicho raro, pero me gusta la sangre y las tripas, ¡el shock!, y lo inusual, así que trato de elegir telas que veo e inmediatamente amo. Sé que no todos son como yo, así que llevo algunos estilos populares si me gustan. Quiero hacer lo que amo, así que amo lo que hago y sigo haciéndolo. ¡Espero que otros compartan la emoción de las telas geniales que trato de llevar y disfruten de mis cosas!
Family has always told me I need to sell the things I make but I never felt it would be cost effective with all of the time I have to put into it and making things is more fun when its personal.
I got back into crocheting and found local yarn stores, then I learned to knit and found Ravelry...that is how the madness began. I started hoarding yarn very quickly and saw all the wonderful things people make and since I am a do it yourselfer- I did it. I love all the excitement the knitting community has and it fuels my drive to make fun and useful bags.
I'm not a weirdo but I like blood and guts, shock!, and the unusual so I try to pick fabrics that I see and immediately love. I know not everyone is like me so I do carry a few popular styles if I like them. I want to make what I love so I love what I do and keep doing it. I hope others share in the excitement of the cool fabrics I try to carry and enjoy my stuff!
