Welcome to Once Upon A Poodle. We work hard to make our customers be happy with the items they choose to purchase. We want our customers to know that they can depend on Once Upon A Poodle for trustworthy and dependable service. Please read our policies to help your transaction be a smooth and happy one.

Payment
We accept Direct Checkout through Etsy. We do not accept cash, money orders, or Paypal. We need payment within 2 days before transaction is cancelled. We reserve the right to refuse service if the request is beyond our ability of completion.
Shipping
If you are purchasing any of our READY TO SHIP items, we will ship within 1-2 business days. For national shipping it normally takes 2-3 days. For international shipping it normally takes 3 weeks. There are times when it can take 4-6 weeks, because it gets stuck in that country's customs. We can't control that. See our product shipping costs in the item's listing. We also do not pay the customer's customs charges. That will be the responsibility of the customer. We have no idea what the charge will be. Every country is different.

For national shipping, we include tracking on any of our aprons or higher cost items.

For international First Class shipping, tracking is not included. The customs form tracks the package until it leaves the United States. We do everything we can to show that the package has been mailed out with the correct address, and that it's left The United States. If all of this is shown to be done correctly, then we cannot be responsible if your item is delayed in customs, arrived past your desired date, or never made it to the desired address. We do not have control of the postal service. We only have control over what we can do here. :^)

Contact us for any large orders to be shipped internationally before purchase. A reserved listing will need to be created, and the shipping charge will need to be adjusted. The postal shipping price raises higher once your package reaches a certain size or 4 lbs. We have no control over the postal charges. We refund any shipping charge overage back to the customer.
Refunds and Exchanges
At this time, we do not accept refunds or exchanges on any crochet or digital download patterns. Once payment is made, the pattern will be available for instant download. You can find the link in Purchases and Reviews in the toolbar at the top of your page.

For all other items, we will NOT accept any return for items that have been washed, worn, damaged, or altered in any way. If you want a refund, contact us, and we'll see if we can help you. It is at our discretion to offer a refund on any item. We only give refunds if our photos, descriptions, details, sizes, or listed item is incorrect.

The customer is responsible for return shipping costs, and shipping charges are not refunded.

We do NOT offer refunds for any digital downloads, custom orders, reserved listings, and/or large orders.

PLEASE read carefully the details of the item in the listing description. We work very hard to put as much detail in the description that will allow the customer to be able to decide if this item will work for them. We include photos from all directions with a close up of details. Please note the measurements in any clothing listing that they will fit you correctly. We include waistband measurements, lengths, and approx. size.
Additional policies and FAQs
PLEASE NOTE: Contact us for any large orders over 3 items before placing your order. A reserved listing will need to be created. The work time to fill the order will need to be adjusted. Also, we may need to adjust the shipping charges to accommodate the weight and shipping box size. Again, no refunds on custom orders, reserved listings, and/or large orders.

If you are wanting to inquire of a custom order, please convo us. Include your idea(s), colors, sizing / measurements, and desired time frame for completion. All of this helps us to better serve you in a timely manner. During any busy season we may not be able to assist with any custom orders. We do our best to make our customers happy, but we are limited with our services if we're busy filling our orders. Please understand that we're only two ladies who are frantically working at our sewing machines. :^) Thank you.
