About

Stressed College Students Makes Store

My shop started off as a project for my Visual Merchandising class in college (I believe I got a B or an A-). It was long, stressful process and I stayed up to 3am finishing it, but I loved the end result.

The Name Lucy and Louise Co. was inspired by my grandmas. I wanted to honor them somehow, so I decided to name the store after them.

I make everything myself. I usually make clay charms and beaded jewelry while watching my favorite TV shows or movies (right now I’m really into Midsomer Murders, Stitchers, and Wynonna Earp).

I usually sew while listening to music (Tame Impala and Florence + The Machine) or podcasts (The Black Tapes, Tanis, The Bright Sessions, Alice Isn’t Dead, or King Falls AM).

I try to create clothing and jewelry that I would wear. Some of my jewelry & clothing are inspired by what I see on tv, movies, or read in books and magazines.

Jewelry and Clay Charms are somewhat fragile. I craft them to be durable, but handle with care.

Keep jewelry (especially clay charms) out of direct sunlight & high heat. Clay & elastic could melt.

Keep jewelry away from oil-based products ( mineral-oils, petroleum-based products & other like oils).

Keep away from aerosols/propellants (hairspray), nail polish remover, or any alcohol based solvent.

Keep away from sharp objects. Sharp Metal (scissors) could scratch surface.

Beads & Polymer Clay are not waterproof & not dishwasher safe. Elastic may snap if exposed to water.

Pat dry lightly if wet.

Skirts are made from Cotton or Cotton Blend Fabrics.

Place the cotton-blend skirts in the washing machine with other clothes of similar colors.
