About

LABs FAB inspires LABs FABulous

I am selling vintage as well as NEW (previously not owned) vintage items from now closed mom and pop small town department store (located on Main Street) that belonged to my parents, operating between 1963 and 2002. The new vintage merchandise, including the fabrics, trims, etc, is from the late 1970's to early 1990s.

At one point, when I was only a child, my parents were going to name a second store after me - a fabric store, named LABs FABs. I thought this was a bad idea and it never came to fruition. But the name stayed somwhere below the surface--- and now this is how LABs FABulous was born.

I don't know what I was thinking when I took the former store merchandise I still have --maybe I was planning to make a lot of gifts, curtains and other things. The years have proven that this plan was not realistic. I never could have imagined this day would come when I would create an online store. I am now determined to clean up my environment, leave behind the past, and pass on these long saved items to those who might enjoy them now...
