I wondered how it would hold up under a mask, and it did surprisingly well. It doesn’t itch or irritate my skin, and it held up well in the Alabama heat I live in. I am very happy that I found this makeup. I is everything I need it to be and costs far less than what I was using previously.

Several mineral brands made me itch, so I started L.A. Minerals in 2007.
Hey there!
I’m Lorraine Pierce, the founder of L.A. Minerals. Back in 2005 I tried mineral foundation for the first time...and it itched like crazy!
I was so disappointed ☹️ because I loved how it looked and how lightweight it felt. But the itching? Ummm nope! Can’t handle that.
So being the snoopy, investigative type of person I am, I started researching the ingredients in other foundations. What I found out was that Bismuth Oxychloride is in most brands and the likely culprit for the itching, even causing redness, swelling and cystic acne! WHOOOAAA! I was shocked at how common this ingredient is in cosmetics.
So I did more research, reached out to ingredient manufacturers, ordered samples, and began to formulate based on three criteria : 1. Natural 2. Non irritating and 3. Functional.
What I created is a line of cosmetics with ZERO; Talc, Bismuth, parabens, phalates, Nano particulates, or other nasty chemicals! But wait... there’s more...
It works too! Yeah... our foundation covers, without itching, and feels lightweight. Our diamond Veil blurs those little imperfections and makes your skin look like you have a secret.
Our blush is concentrated and can double as eyeshadow and lip color.
