This venture spawned from the wild idea to sign up for a local craft fair and turned into a great way for mom and daughter to share something together, even states away. Just a girl & her mom who like cats and yarn...

My life in knits and purls...

My day job is a Mental Health Therapist. Helping others is in my bones and I can't help but put myself out there to make life easier for someone else. Knitting goes hand in hand with that. Giving someone a present that they really enjoy is one thing, but making someone something that makes them beam is worth so much more.

The best part is, the process of knitting is what really brings me pleasure. After a day of loading up on other peoples' problems, I need to unwind. If I could do anything in the entire world for a couple of hours each day, it would be sitting on my couch with some chunky yarn, size 11 circulars, and hot chocolate spiked with a little peppermint schnapps.
