Vanuit een spookhuis in New Orleans maakt Lady Delaney miniaturen, mysteries en miniatuurmysteries. Ze wordt bijgestaan door twee keurige smokingkatten en de geesten uit New Orleans. Haar tijd op de kunstacademie was onopvallend en rechtvaardigt geen verdere uiteenzetting. De curiosa die je voor je ziet staan opgesteld, zijn het resultaat van autodidactisch onderzoek, veel afval opgraven en een enigszins weerbarstige aard.
Sinds de lancering van haar kleine digitale winkelpui in 2009 heeft L de aandacht getrokken van uitgevers, curatoren en etalages, met haar creaties die infiltreren in internationale privécollecties, het National Building Museum in DC, solotentoonstellingen en talloze nationale publicaties. In 2017 was haar doe-het-zelfboek, All Dolled Up, een nummer 1 nieuwe release op Amazon. Haar freelancecarrière omvat onder meer samenwerkingen met Tiffany & Co., Monique Lhuillier, FAO Schwarz en Anthropologie. Haar overpeinzingen zijn verschenen in het Etsy Seller Handbook en Atlas Obscura. In de zomer van 2023 werd ze uitgenodigd om zich bij een groepje excentriekelingen aan te sluiten bij de eerste Artist Retreat van het Edward Gorey House.

From a haunted mansion in New Orleans, Lady Delaney crafts miniatures, mysteries, and miniature mysteries. She is assisted by two gentlemanly tuxedoed cats, and the New Orleans ghosts. Her time at art school was unremarkable and warrants no further exposition. The curios you see arranged before you are the result of self-taught exploration, much garbage digging, and a slightly unruly nature.
Since launching her diminutive digital storefront in 2009, L has gone on to catch the attention of publishers, curators, and window dresserers, with her creations infiltrating international private collections, the National Building Museum in DC, solo exhibitions, and numerous national publications. In 2017, her DIY book, All Dolled Up, was a #1 New Release on Amazon. Her freelance career includes stints collaborating with Tiffany & Co., Monique Lhuillier, FAO Schwarz, and Anthropologie. Her musings have appeared in the Etsy Seller Handbook and Atlas Obscura. In summer 2023, she was invited to join a coterie of oddballs at the Edward Gorey House's inaugural Artist Retreat.
