Handmade Pottery & Bone Carvings
LGGCreativeArt's Shop Policies
Welcome to LGGCreativeArt! My name is Leslie Green Guilbault, and I'm a potter and bone carver from Hamilton, New York. I specialize in unique, hand-crafted works of art that are meant to be used and enjoyed for many years to come.
HOW DO I BUY SOMETHING FROM LGGCREATIVEART? If you are new to Etsy and have questions about buying, here is a helpful link to get you started: http://www.etsy.com/faq_buying.php
PAYMENT METHODS: I accept PayPal and personal checks made out to "Leslie Green Guilbault." I will ship your items within three business days of confirmed payment. For checks, I must wait until the check clears the bank.
RESERVING ITEMS: If you would like me to hold an item on "Reserve", I would be happy to do so for one week. After the one week reserve, if you have not purchased the item or have changed your mind, it will be returned to normal status on LGGCreativeArt so that others may purchase it.
ORDER FULFILLMENT: I strive to ship all orders within 3 business days of receipt of payment. I ship USPS priority, UPS ground, or FedEx ground.
RUSH ORDERS: If you need a rush shipment, please message me so that I can make that happen. I am able to do insurance, 2nd day air/overnight, etc., at your request -- I will simply send a modified invoice through Paypal for the balance.
SHIPPING PRICES: I estimate shipping prices for individual items based on weight and dimensions with the assumption that items will ship, fully insured and securely packaged, to the farthest reaches of the U.S. from my home in NY State.
Shipping costs may vary depending on your actual location, if you want priority or express shipping, the size and special packaging needs of an item, and the number of items you order. If you are not in a hurry and are looking to save money on shipping, many items can ship Parcel Post. In addition, arrangements can be made for local customers to visit my studio and pick items up in person, thereby eliminating the shipping costs entirely. Please send me a message if you wish to discuss shipping options. I’m easy to work with.
If you provide an incorrect shipping address and the item is returned to me, you will be responsible for the original shipping cost plus the cost to ship it to the correct address.
BREAKAGE AND LOST ITEMS: Pottery is fragile, so I wrap items carefully and securely prior to shipment and insure them for the full purchase amount. Nonetheless, accidents sometimes happen. While I cannot take responsibility for items that are lost during shipping or damage that occurs during transit by a third party shipper, I will follow up with the shipper to investigate. If your purchase is lost or breaks during shipping, please let me know immediately so that I can respond appropriately. I may ask you to send me a digital picture of the product, including the packaging, as this helpful during the claim process.
Refunds and Exchanges
REFUNDS: I usually do not offer refunds or exchanges except in special situations involving work that has arrived damaged or broken. I pack work for shipping according to guidelines maintained by USPS, UPS, and FedEx, and save a photo of each pack before shipping. Please contact me immediately upon discovery of any damaged shipment.
Exceptions, of course, can be made following a discussion of the problem. Items returned to me within one week of original receipt will be fully refunded, minus shipping/insurance costs, once the item arrives at my shop. You may return an item by repacking it in the original shipping box and writing "Return to Sender" on it. I will post your refund within 30 days of receiving it.
Additional Policies and FAQs
CUSTOM ORDERS: I love the challenge of creating custom orders, but to get them just right takes time—up to six weeks in some instances, depending on your request, my availability, and where I am in my firing schedule. If your order is quite large, I may request partial payment to cover time and materials needed to complete your order.
If you like the shape of an item in my store but would prefer it in a different one of my glazes, I can remake that item, but the dimensions may differ slightly. Likewise, multiples of an item (ex: 4 bowls) may differ slightly in size and shape.
ADDITIONAL POLICIES AND FAQs:
- Inquiries from galleries, independent shops, and boutiques are welcome.
- Depending on the item and quantities desired, I can provide wholesale pricing. Please message me for details.
- I will offer items to local shops on consignment as requested.
- All of my pottery is lead free and microwave/oven/dishwasher safe unless noted otherwise.
