  • The first (and often most difficult) step in making a new print is brainstorming. What 'theme' shall my new print have?
  • After many days of brainstorming and drawing I am ready with a new illustration. Then the carving proces begins.
  • When all the lino blocks are carved and done I start the printing proces. The first step is to mix and apply the ink.
  • After applying the ink I put paper and block through the press. It often takes many attempts to get a satisfying result
  • Last but not least: the drying proces. Due to the oile based ink I use it takes up to 4 weeks before my print are dry.
