Born in Cali, Colombia— I grew up around people’s work flow. My grandmother’s house, a large two story home for their once family of ten, was then separated into two apartments where aunts and uncles lived and worked on their paintings, and their wooden, metal and ceramic sculptures. It was a thrill, yet such a normalized one that it didn’t dawn on me till I got older how much it influenced me.
