Hello and welcome to the LVespertino Studios Etsy Shop! Here you will find my pottery, all of which is original and recent. You will also find some of my sculpture here, some past commissions and some not, available in either limited or open editions.

Most of the pottery I'm offering was wheel-thrown, though on occasion I hand-build pots, too. My standard ceramics studio clays are a mid-range creamy porcelain and a mid-range brown-speckled tan (buff) stoneware. I use a two-step firing process: first a bisque fire, then a cone 6 glaze firing. The result is high quality, functional pottery, ready to use and enjoy!

My sculpture is typically made with a three step process: model, mold, cast. First, I sculpt the original in Plastilina, a really fine, high-grade modeling clay. Next, I make a mold, usually with rubber and fiberglass. Lastly, I cast the piece in any number of resin-based casting media but usually cold-cast bronze or cold-cast nickel silver.
