I have collected many beautiful things over the years, including my much loved old paper ephemera, French enamelware, vintage kitchen gadgets, table linens, bed linens, kitchen cloths and beautiful lace, Vintage French rosaries, crosses/crucifixes, vintage and antique clothing, all kinds of OOAK collectibles. As the children are now grown up, we want to move to a smaller home, so it is time to part with a lot of my collected treasures. But, it makes me very happy when they travel to new owners who love them just as much as I did. Happy shopping!

We share our time between the UK, where we live in a Victorian house, and France, where we live in a 150 year old farmer's cottage. I have been collecting lace, fabrics, old books and all manner of interesting, weird and wonderful old stuff for many many years.
For me the hunt and the haggling at brocantes in France and boot fairs in England has always been the most fun bit. But by now, our homes are overflowing and we desperately want to downsize so that we can move to a smaller home in the UK now that the kids have flown the nest. Parting with my little treasures collected over many many years is not easy, but I am happy when they find a new home with somebody else who appreciates them.

Shipping
Within the UK, I send everything under 2kg first class, packages under 2kg to Europe and worldwide are sent by normal airmail.
In the UK I always get a 'proof of posting' receipt which includes insurance cover up to £20, in France, unless tracking and/or insurance is added, I can only get a payment receipt from the post office.
Higher value orders will only be sent with track and signed for service.
Any additional customs fees/import taxes/VAT etc are the responsibility of the buyer. I cannot work out fees/handling charges/taxes for each and every country. PLEASE CHECK WITH YOUR OWN CUSTOMS HOW MUCH YOU ARE ALLOWED TO IMPORT BEFORE TAXES ETC APPLY.
Some countries have restrictions on what you are allowed to import. It is up to you, the customer, to make sure that whatever you purchase is legally allowed into your country.
