Lacebobbins' Shop Policies

Welcome to my etsy shop!

I have been making lace for many years and took up painting lace bobbins in the mid '90s - initially for my own use and then later on request for others.

My bobbins are painted with either acrylic, watercolour or gouache paints and sealed with several coats of varnish. I am happy to design lace day bobbins for groups as well as commemoratives and special requests for customers.

I accept payment by Paypal and Direct Check Out using credit and debit cards.

Within the UK, all parcels are sent out by First Class post. Parcels for Europe and everywhere else will be sent out by Airmail post. I do obtain 'proof of posting' for all parcels however I would recommend postal insurance for larger value orders - please contact me for further details. The post may take longer than usual at certain times of the year.

There may be customs duty to pay on International parcels - this is the responsibility of the purchaser.

Please check that your address details are correct when placing an order with me. Your parcel will be sent to the address appearing on the invoice (address registered with Etsy) unless I am otherwise informed.

Refunds and Exchanges

Please contact me if you have any queries about an item - if you are unhappy with any item, then a refund maybe arranged on prompt return of the item undamaged and a saleable condition.

All items will be well packaged to prevent any damage in the postal system - however, please let me know if there any problems.

Additional Policies and FAQs

I am happy to discuss custom orders.

Please note: I do not recommend the use of bobbins winders as they may damage the lace bobbins.
