Note from shop owner Hello! I am currently not taking any new orders as I had my third child in December. I plan to take at least a few months off to have as much time to recoup as possible! Thank you for stopping by and I hope to be doing business with you in the near future.

About

Make Time to do What You Love!

I have been involved in art since I can remember. Always having an eye for detail and a gift that God gave me to have the ability to create and design new things. My comfortable medium is pencil and pastels. I have recently been working with acrylic and come to love it!

Being a stay at home mom of two I don't have much time for my art anymore, but when one of my friends had a request for me to paint letters for her boy's rooms I took the offer and was motivated again! Whether I am painting for someone else or myself I am in my own world. That is my "get away." Any mom knows that once you have kids there isn't much time for yourself so you have to MAKE time. Once I was done with my girlfriend's letters it was so rewarding seeing her reaction and gave me a sense of "I still got it" type of attitude. She encouraged me to open my own shop and a few months later voila! Still being a newbie when it comes to letters and acrylic I find the challenge rewarding and I never get bored of the change of canvas.

Painted letters is like any other artwork or painting. You can paint just about anything on letters and have to find a way to incorporate what they love onto small, sometimes skinny pieces of wood. That is the fun part!

The process is quite simple. I purchase the font and size letter of your choice and based on pictures and ideas you give me I begin brainstorming on how to fit what you love on your letters, still making sure the images I paint are very clear and detailed. When I am done with the painting I place a finishing sealer to protect the acrylic paint. When the sealer is dried I prepare to ship your beautiful letters by separating them with wax paper to prevent them from sticking to one another and wrap the letters in wrapping tissue to make sure they are secure in the shipping package. They are now ready to be shipped to you!

Thanks for reading I hope you enjoyed your stay! ;)

Thanks for clicking on my shop! I am new to Etsy but not new to art! Painting letters is a fun and different canvas for me and I love how every order is different from the last. If you need help with an idea I am the one to ask!
