Katie Mills is a metalsmith + jeweler creating everyday pieces that incorporate simple forms and unique stones. While pursuing a graphic design degree in college, she took metalsmithing courses at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and fell in love with the craft. Katie resided in Chicago, IL for over a decade and taught graphic design at Columbia College Chicago while also developing Lady Faye Jewelry on the side. In 2015, Katie continued her metalsmithing education in San Francisco completing the Jewelry Technician Intensive at the Revere Academy Of Jewelry Arts. Katie now lives and works in Portland, Oregon creating jewelry full-time in a metalsmithing studio in NE Portland.
Jewelry crafted with a modern sensibility, Lady Faye Jewelry evokes nostalgic afternoons spent digging through your mother’s jewelry box. Having grown up in the Wisconsin countryside, I spent summer days trekking through the woods filling my pockets with collected treasures. Today you’ll discover collections from my favorite modern day quests in my line — from land and sea castings to earthy stones, diamonds and gemstones. Based out of my Portland, OR studio, I create production and custom designs, working with precious and non precious metals, hand fabricating and carving techniques and stone setting and finishing. Whether creating an heirloom wedding ring to commemorate a special day or a forged jewelry dish revealing the hand of the maker, I design each piece with a story in mind and a priority on craftsmanship.

5 out of 5 starsI adore these earrings! I had my eye on them for awhile and I’m so glad I treated myself. I like mixing and matching simple small stud earrings and these are perfect to go with my little collection. They are not tiny but not huge, love the small detail on the X and how it isn’t completely smoothed over and you can see how the pieces were layered on one another. Worth it in my opinion!

The description of the stone being a smoky gray green is spot on, they shine different tones in light but I love how unique the gray tone is, definitely will go with plenty of outfits for sure. The craftsmanship is beautiful and I love how simple yet fun they are. The best was working with Katie, so friendly and helpful. You will not be disappointed with any of her jewelry!!

Made to order, sale and discounted items are not eligible for refund but we do offer an exchange of equal or greater value.
Personalized and custom jewelry are final sale and not eligible for refund or exchange.
Customer is responsible for shipping and handling fees for returned items and will be refunded once returned item is received. It is recommended to purchase tracking and insurance for return shipping. Please note that the product must be returned unworn and in original packaging including all tags.
Lady Faye Jewelry is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items being returned. Please contact us prior to shipping your return so we can anticipate your package delivery.

Purchasing a ring? It is recommended for customers purchasing a ring online to have your ring size determined by a local jewelry prior to ordering. A ring sizing gauge is also available for purchase in our shop. Lady Faye Jewelry is not responsible for rings not fitting due to incorrect measurements.

USPS Priority Mail - $12.00 (Tracking, Insured up to $250): Priority shipping via USPS including tracking and insurance up to $250.
UPS Ground - $40.00 (Tracking, Full Insurance, Signature Confirmation): Shipping via UPS ground including tracking, full insurance and signature confirmation upon delivery. Required shipping profile for jewelry valued over $250.
UPS 2nd Day Air - $60.00 (Tracking, Full Insurance, Signature Confirmation) Shipping via UPS 2 day air for quick two day deliveries. If you need a guaranteed delivery date scheduled, choose this shipping option and contact us with the details.
Please note that fine jewelry and items valued over $250 must ship with full insurance and signature confirmation. Please be sure to provide an address where you will be present to sign upon delivery.
Jewelry is packaged in a jewelry box within a sturdy mailer box. Lady Faye Jewelry is not responsible for missing packages due to incorrect shipping address and theft. Please choose the best shipping option based on the total value of your jewelry purchase.

Additional policies and FAQs
• Protect silver jewelry from tarnishing by storing in a well sealed ziploc bag
• Clean jewelry with a polishing cloth or liquid polish
• If silver has been oxidized (blackened) as part of the design, do not use the above methods, rather soapy water and toothbrush to clean off dirt, lotion, etc.
• Maintain and protect finish by removing jewelry before washing hands, showering, putting on lotion, gardening, etc.
Repairs: Craftsmanship is a priority at Lady Faye Jewelry and we stand behind it. If your jewelry needs repair within the first six months of purchase we will do so free of charge. After six months a small repair fee may apply and will be assessed on a case by case basis. We do not repair pieces made by another jeweler.
