Welcome to my little policy page! You won't find anything very complicated here, just a few clarifications to make our relationship, temporary though it may be, run a little smoother.

The main thing I want to make clear is that I welcome your questions and discussion about any concerns you may have.

Accepted payment methods

Buyer pays shipping charges which I will keep as close to actual cost as I can. I accept personal checks and money orders. I will allow three (3) weeks for your payment to reach me. Feel free to contact me if you had an unavoidable delay. I'll be glad to work with you. After three weeks, if I've not heard from you, I will cancel the transaction.
I will send your package on the Friday following receipt of your payment. Some weeks you may get lucky. If I am in town on an earlier day, I will send it then. But you can count on Fridays! I will include delivery confirmation as standard on all my shipping charges. If you want insurance, or other services, let me know and I'll add it in.

I generally use the US postal service. If you'd prefer the higher cost of UPS or FedEx, etc. contact me and we'll work it out.

Most of my items will not require cushioned packaging. I will wrap cloth and yarn items in plastic in an effort to waterproof it.
Refunds and Exchanges
I do not offer refunds for items lost or damaged in the mail. Nor for "wrong color" reasons, as I will make every effort to take clear pictures that are not too far off true. However, for wrong sizes, or any other reason you have, please contact me and I'll do my best to bring satisfaction. If your purchase breaks in transit, send me a picture of the item and I will refund your money or send you a replacement if you wish.

If you return something for an exchange, you will pay for sending it back to me, but I will pay for the replacement to you. Fair enough?
Additional policies and FAQs
My home is non-smoking, but I do have a cat and dogs, although the dogs are generally outside. <smile> If you have allergy issues, email me and let me know what measures to take to send you a clean product.

I donate a portion of my proceeds to charity, including several missionaries. I also donate some of my products to local causes such as shelters and nursing homes. The rest of the profits go to my medical bills, as I am fighting lyme disease and all its complications.
