Additional policies and FAQs
It is best to store your wig in a net, you may either keep it in a bag or box, or display your wig on a mannequin or hook. I keep my wigs in large tupperwear containers and hang the ones I wear the most frequently on an over-the-door hook rack for easy access. Wigs can be sprayed with a leave in wig conditioner between wears, but washing every few of wears is recommended. To do so, fill your sink with room temperature water, wet thoroughly and apply shampoo or drop a bit of shampoo into the water and agitate slightly by swirling the wig around. Do not scrub, lather, or wring the hair in any way, as this will damage the fibers. Rinse, apply conditioner, and repeat. To dry, hang your wig in the shower to drip and air dry. Never brush your wig when wet, if any tangles remain you can sort them out after the wig has dried. Brushing should be done with a brush specifically made for synthetic hair, such as a loop brush. Curly and wavy wigs should be untangled by hand and then sprayed with water to reshape curls and waves. The best thing you can do for your straight wigs, is steam them with a garment steamer. The steam makes the fibers soft again, and makes your wig feel brand new. First brush out knots with a loop brush, turn on steamer and steam wig while brushing gently, continue until fibers are soft again, being careful not to burn yourself on the steam!
