It's a Pinkie Pie! Head needs some more prototyping, but the body is good. Also, a sock monkey that I'm going to dress up like the 11th Doctor! Need to make his jacket still.

About

Geek Fantasies Made Reality

They say that idle hands are the devil's workshop, and I never much fancied being idle. There was a time in my life where I was in that miserable percentage of Americans that were unemployed, yet I couldn't stand the thought of doing nothing. So I got into crafting -- knitting, crochet, haberdashery... -- and if I sat on the couch watching telly, I was knitting a Doctor Who scarf while I did it. At the end of a summer, I had a stash of Harry Potter scarves and Jayne hats and geeky little knits that I was proud to share, to sell. Online, at faires, conventions... Any place that I knew someone would know and love my creations, I laid them out. It's not much, but I do it with my heart, and I enjoy the joy it brings my fellow geeks when they get a little tangible piece of fiction to call their very own.

I'm constantly working on my product, recently adding the Despicable Me minions, and am finishing prototypes for Angry Bird plushies. I've got a design of small plush characters that will be coming out as I finish them, and an ambitious Discord doll from My Little Pony that is a labour of love. I'm always open to new ideas, new products, new ways to get that little joy to my customers. Some of these are dying arts, and I'm happy to keep them alive with my own love of fiction.

When I'm not crafting or perusing patterns, I can be found role-playing on Twitter or writing my own novels, hoping that one day I, too, will have a book that brings my customer's such joy.

Hi there! Thank you so much for stopping by! I'm glad you're enjoying the shop, and are interested in doing business here. Let me tell you a bit about myself...

I've been artistically inclined for pretty much my entire life. Dad taught me to do cross stitching at a young age, I started writing in middle school, fell in love with knitting and crochet somewhere in high school, and have been drawing and coloring for as long as I can remember. I'm always trying to learn new things, so you'll notice that there are always new products here and there. Not only do I keep the shop interesting, it helps me keep my creativity fresh and new. Please be sure to come back, because you'll never know what I post next!

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy gift cards
Payment
My preferred method is PayPal or direct-to-shop, for the simple fact that it's easiest. Being in the beginning era of this shop, a lot of this is working out of pocket, so there may be a time or two in the future where I'm broke and the only way I can pay for shipping is when you pay for your product. Don't worry, it's not that I don't love you, but you know as well as I do that sometimes it takes money to make money...

I am open to trades, provided you have something I don't mind trading for. As Rumpelstiltskin says, "When two people have something the other one wants, a deal can always be made". I generally try to keep the pricing the same for simplicity's sake. I just ask that you pay for shipping!
Shipping
I expect payment before I will deliver the product. The sooner you pay, the sooner it ships. If you have need of emergency shipping, let me know and we can arrange something, but know that faster shipping may be more expensive. Please note when purchasing a product that if it's "Made to Order", it will take longer. I ship as soon as I can, but please order accordingly.

If you are in the Tucson, AZ area and would like to save on shipping by meeting the artist around town to pick up your product personally, let me know and I'll arrange a met up! Keep in mind that it's important to be a bit paranoid on the internet - some people aren't who they say they are. I will never ask to meet you in your own home, and will always meet you in a public place. If anyone asks you to do otherwise, be wary.
Refunds and Exchanges
All of my products come with a lifetime warranty! Be it plush or knitwear, just send me the product with a note telling me what's wrong with it, and I'll repair or replace it the best I can. My ideal goal is your eternal satisfaction with what little piece of joy I can give to you.

I do not do cash/monetary refunds, however. This is still a new shop, and it's not exactly profitable yet. If you are dissatisfied with the product you purchased (which I have yet to happen!), we can see about exchanging it for another item or for store credit.

Be good to your products, and they'll be good to you! I also do repair work for some knit and crochet products, if someone else's piece is falling apart, depending on difficulty. There will be a service charge with this, naturally.
Additional policies and FAQs
Keep in mind that plushies take a while to craft, and that knitwear takes longer still. The Baker scarf takes 3-4 months when it's my sole priority! If you order custom, I will do my best to fulfill the order, but remember that I'm an artist with an e-mail, not a soothsayer with a crystal ball (I do tarot, but I'm not that good) - please express as well as you can what you're looking for - pictures are the absolute best! - but also be sure to leave room for artistic judgement; some colors just don't go together, and if you try to jam too many things into one project, it can be too 'busy' and unattractive. We can work together to find something that's just PERFECT for you.

All products have a lifetime warranty! Be it plush or knitwear, just send me the product with a note telling me what's wrong with it, and I'll repair or replace it the best I can. My goal is your eternal satisfaction with what little piece of joy I can give to you.
