Vintage Fabrics are the Most Sustainable Fabrics
Lady Virginia Vintage is inspired by history, from its lessons and examples, and from its vintage and antique fabrics for home decor and lifestyle. Beautiful, gracious living shouldn't mean freshly drawing from the earth with new products when an abundance of useful, elegant, high quality, charming fabrics are everywhere, just waiting for a second life.
I source vintage fabrics, research their history, and share them with you. Together we live a beautiful, charmed, truly green life that we can proudly pass on to the next generation!

Frequently asked questions
Is fabric cut by the yard considered "custom."
Yes, our vintage fabrics are available in very limited quantities. Therefore, as soon as we cut any fabric by the yard for you, that is considered custom. All fabrics cut by the yard are final sale.
Do you send swatches?
Because all our fabric is antique and vintage, we have very limited, sharply measured quantities. It is extremely rare that we would have enough extra fabric beyond our listed yardage in order to send a swatch. You can always ask, but the chances are low on most pieces.
Where do I find how much yardage you have of a piece?
Unfortunately Etsy makes shopping for luxury and rare fabric very difficult when the price is over $19 per yard. Etsy does NOT display the quantity of the yardage in this circumstance and thus shoppers write in to me all the time asking how much yardage is available. To immediately see the yardage of a piece click "add to cart" and then visit your cart to see the remaining yardage. You can also message me for the answer to any yardage question. I hope Etsy will fix this terrible problem at some point.
Are sale and coupon items returnable?
Whenever I hold sales, or when a coupon is used, that renders the item "final sale."
Are there exceptions to your return policy?
Yes. Please be aware that while my shop says all things are returnable, there are actually exceptions to this that Etsy's tools are not flexible enough to allow me to display for you.
Any and all cut yardage is final sale and is not returnable under any circumstances. Rare and luxury fabrics have greater value in larger quantities for customers to make larger projects. When fabric is cut away, it reduces that possibility. Thus all cut fabric is final sale.
How must you receive returns for my refund?
All fabric must be clean, unused, freshly ironed, and repackaged in clean tissue paper and wrapped in plastic just as it was sent.
Returns are mailed at your expense and must include both tracking and insurance for the full value of the piece.
