My Etsy shop began after a visit to a local fabric store while purchasing a ton of fabric for quilting. After a quick stroll through the website, I was hooked and fascinated by all the handmade goods available for sale. Then the thought came to mind, "hey, why not sell my stuff?" And that's when I became an Etsier!
I have a passion for crocheting and sharing my works with babies, toddlers, and even adults all over the world. The joy and satisfaction from making someone a cherished piece of work is indescribable.
I am The Crafty Ladybug. Etsier for over 2 years now and thoroughly enjoy sharing my works with others all across the country.
Do forgive me if some of my policies sound a little harsh and redundant. Through my years as an Etsier, I have learned a many tips and "tricks" from some very clever customers; thus have learned what works best for me as well as for you, my customer.
************ IF PLACING A CUSTOM ORDER FOR ANY ITEM IN MY SHOP, PLEASE PURCHASE THE LISTING SPECIFIC TO THE SIZE YOU'RE WANTING. In the "message to seller" box, please give specifics about sizing. Read the item description carefully.
If you are uncertain about sizing, please provide a head measurement (in the message to seller box) for the best possible fit. Not all newborns have the same head measurement, so please do not assume my newborn hats/shoes/clothing will fit your baby.
If you purchase a made to order item and it does not fit properly when you receive it, CONTACT ME for replacement arrangements. Please DO NOT leave negative feedback for an item when you have made no effort to contact me to resolve this issue.
I DO NOT AND WILL NOT MAKE ITEMS WITHOUT PAYMENT FIRST********* I apologize for sounding rude, but too many customers have contacted me for a custom order, then NEVER pay. This is very bad for business.

Due to the clever nature of some customers, I no longer accept payment in the form of an e-check.
I do my best to keep shipping charges at a minimum. Therefore, most items will be shipped in poly mailers, nothing fancy, just plain and simple. If you are ordering from another country, you are responsible for any and all duties and customs charges that may be incurred. Please allow extra time for your item to arrive before leaving negative or neutral feedback.
Need an item faster? Convo me before you purchase an item and I can upgrade your shipping to PRIORITY MAIL (2-3 day delivery - which is NOT absolutely guaranted by the postal service) or EXPRESS MAIL (which is 1 day guaranteed delivery) with shipping charges reflecting whichever you prefer. Keep in mind some shipping methods require a signature to complete delivery. PLEASE BE AVAILABLE FOR DELIVERY.
I am not responsible for your item once it leaves my hands and enters the postal system.
Refunds and Exchanges

If I do not have a listing for a specific size, please CONVO ME FIRST and I will set up a custom listing for you. Larger size cost more in both time and materials, thus the price will be more. I DO NOT and WILL NOT make items without payment first.*********
For all made to order/custom orders, please allow up to 7 days for production, unless it is a rug or blanket. Those obviously take longer to make so please allow up to 30 or more business days for production of larger items such as those. During periods of high volume orders, this time could be longer. I will keep you updated about your order.
********* DO NOT allow your child to wear something for 3 months and expect a FREE replacement if it no longer fits. Again, pay attention to the size you're ordering. If you want the item be wearable longer, order up a size or two.
If you buy a made to order item and it does not fit properly when you receive it, CONTACT ME for a replacement. Please do not let me know this through NEGATIVE feedback. Work with me toward a positive solution, not a negative one that is the result of your lack of reading the full item description or lack of communication.
I am not responsible for lost or stolen items. Items can be insured during shipment, but that will be at your expense. If you want to insure your package, convo me BEFORE purchasing so I can adjust shipping charges.
Additional policies and FAQs
Pay close attention to the listing you are buying; make sure it is the correct size. If you see something in my shop and I do not have the particular size in stock & ready to ship, convo me and we'll work together on a custom order. Please include a head/foot measurement for the best possible fit and allow extra days for production. If you need something in a hurry, I offer rush service for $15, which will place your order in front of any current orders I have pending. Rush shipping is an extra charge also; see above shipping policy. Insurance is also offered at your expense.
For all custom orders, please allow up to 7 business days PER ITEM for production. During periods of high volume orders, this time could be longer. I will keep you updated about your order.
Due to variations in computer monitor settings, photo lighting, and current dye lots, colors may not be exactly true to the product, so I describe colors to the best of my ability or can provide manufacturer swatch photo for better color representation. If you are uncertain about an item's color, convo me.
