Announcement   Greeting cards, linoleum block prints & serigraphs in mild colors, wild colors & b&w: fantasies, scenes of Thailand, the US, portraits, puppies . . . Lagana's poems, "the Roots of Life, the Trees of Love," printed, bound by Lagana & sold on Etsy. Also available as an eBook, or visit her poetry blog at www.laganadesign.com

Lagana cuts and pulls her own prints in small editions of 3-25 prints, each numbered, dated, and signed in pencil by Lagana, followed with imp. (The artist printed it.) Prints are on Japanese mulberry paper unless otherwise noted. From carving, to transferring the ink by brayer from ink plate to block, are intricate hand processes that leave variations in inking from print to print even in the b&w.

And Lagana likes to play with color, so no two color prints are alike. If you are interested in a color print, Lagana will paste photos of the other color variations still available. All prints are returnable within 10 days if the buyer pays return shipping and insurance, and there is no damage.

Japanese mulberry papers have irregularities of handmade papers. Over time some of these papers may show oxidation spots depending on the purity of the water used to make the paper. These usually blend with the paper. If the print is kept in air-conditioning, they likely won't occur or increase. Because Lagana’s work is hand done, the ink has interesting variations and is not of uniform thickness as with machine prints.

All work is copyrighted. No images may be copied or used without express permission of the artist.

Showed up in a good amount of time. Super excited! We even got a handwritten letter and she repaired some stitches for us! Thank you! :) :)
