About

I love sewing and dreamed of owning a shop called Lana's Lark.

At age 13 I saved my quarter a week allowance until I had enough to buy a Barbie doll. Now my doll needed clothes, but it would take weeks to save enough to buy just one outfit. So I talked my mom into buying me a pattern, giving me the scraps from the clothes she made for my sisters and me, and loaning me her sewing machine. I taught myself to sew making dresses for my doll.

I have not lost my desire to create with needle and thread, but my crafts have changed through the years. I've taught myself to knit, crochet, embroider, quilt and more. But my desire was to own a shop where I could sell my creations. Lana's Lark is an answer to that dream.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
It is important to me that you are happy with your purchase. If you are not satisfied for any reason, please let me know asap. I want your shopping experience to be a pleasure.

My return policy:

No refunds on digital products.

Returns on items other than digital must be made within 14 days of receipt and in original condition. Please contact me for return instructions.


Full Refunds via Etsy Direct Checkout or PayPal (whichever was used for payment) will be granted under certain conditions:
• Material arrived damaged and shipper has reimbursed seller - must be reported within 48 hours
• Package is lost and shipper has reimbursed seller - please contact me
to arrange a claim with shipper
• I shipped the wrong item and item has been returned in original condition - return shipping will also be reimbursed - proof of return shipping cost must be provided


Partial Refunds via PayPal will be granted under certain conditions:
• Item was returned in original condition for reasons other than something that was my fault - purchase price only will be refunded less a 10% restocking fee, shipping charges are nonrefundable in this case

Cancellation Policy: Because I ship very quickly upon receiving an order, there most likely will not be time for an order to be canceled. In this case, the item will need to be returned at buyers expense, and only the purchasing price will be refunded (not the original shipping charge) upon receipt of the returned item in resalable condition. Shipping
All shipments are made through USPS 1st Class Mail, Media Mail, or Priority Mail. If you are considering more than one item and wish to get a shipping quote before purchasing, please email to tell me which ones so that I can give you a combined shipping amount. Shipping over-payments in excess of $1.00 will be promptly refunded via PayPal or Etsy Direct Payment (whichever was originally used).
