Lannie's Design was founded on August of 2012 by yours truly, Lannie Armstrong along with my husband Michael. When my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer on November 2012, we wondered how we are going to help her. This jewelry making business had been a huge blessing to us during those days. We have been using 90% of our profits from our jewelry sales to support her medication and treatments. Though my mom already passed away last December 2016, Lannie's design still exist to help fund our annual medical missions trips to the Philippines.

Growing up from a family with limited resources, I have learned how to be creative and resourceful based on what is available. I've always love creating, designing and selling. I know if I have not been a teacher, I would have been a business woman. And I am so blessed that my husband is very supportive of whatever I wanted to do.

I started posting pictures of the jewelries I made on facebook and on my blog. On November 2012, I organized my very first jewelry party in one of our friends house which was attended mostly by our friends from our church. In 2013, I was able to organize four jewelry parties.

We have some friends who have told us about etsy.com. Some of them are also shop owners and we heard a lot of good feedback from them. Since then we have been interested in opening Lannie's Design shop so we can reach more audience. So in January 20, 2014 we opened our shop and had our very first customer on February 7, 2014.
