Love of blue

Our Family started with a small store Lapislazuli in Kokkari on the island of Samos in Greece. Over the years we build up our etsy shops and opened another shop in Erlangen in the region of Nuremberg, Germany.
My passion through out the years is the blue stone and the history behind it. I have traveled many places in this world and seen many thing, heard story's and met many nice people. All this i would like to express with my work and share it with you with all the love included.
We have a partner, a master stone cutter, in Jaipur, India, who runs a stone cutting workshop that provides employment and, most importantly, apprenticeships for young men (not children). After working with him, many young men have gone on to have their own businesses and provide a living for an extended family (In India, this can be up to 50 people). In general, most all our stones come from countries where the need is great. We are careful to use only sources that practice fair trade in terms of their employees (treatment and pay). If we can help these people reach the world market, it will help many people.
Our jewelry is designed in family tradition, we like to show the natural beauty of each piece combined with the inspiration of ancient cultures such as Egyptian, Greek or Persian heritage.
Nature and history are our biggest inspiration and our goal is to give back to these country's with such great sources and history, through fair-trade and helping the development of new business and provide a good base for their family's.

My whole family cares for the world of gems as you can also see in our other shops on etsy:

But my love will be expressed here: THE ROYAL STONE LAPIS LAZULI

Frequently asked questions
Care instructions

Please do not bring jewelry in contact with soap and water. Depending on the way it is worked (if glued, as example) it might loosen the stone. Chemicals will harm the stone, such as soap, cleaning materials or chlorine. Also saltwater will take the shine of the stone and make it look dull. Please clean with a wipe not gold or silver bath. For more information please contact us.
