Q: What types of payment do you accept?

◆ I happily accept Paypal which can process credit/debit cards.

◆ You do not need an account with Paypal to use their service. When you make a payment, I do NOT see any of your bank information. I cannot process orders over the phone.

◆ A 6% sales tax will be applied for Pennsylvania residents.

◆ Cancellations: Ready-made pieces are shipped often times same day so if you need to cancel an order I recommend contacting me quickly! Custom orders are more on a case by case basis as I typically order the metals I need to complete a job same day as your order to get the ball rolling. Message me as soon as possible if you need to cancel so I can see what I can do.

Q: Do you ship Internationally?

Yes, and no. Shipping jewelry is restricted in many countries and if sent to a place that doesn't allow it, it will most likely be seized by customs. For this reason, I will need to be contacted first so I can check on your country's restrictions, calculate a shipping fee and set up a reserved listing for you, if possible.

Q: How much is shipping, how will I know if my order has shipped and when will it arrive?

◆ Important! Please make sure the address you have provided Etsy is up to date as that is the address I will be mailing your package to. I cannot be held responsible for packages sent to the incorrect address if this has not been updated on your end.

◆ Shipping is free within the United States.

◆ You will receive an email with your delivery confirmation number once it has been shipped.

◆ All orders shipping within the U.S. over $100 will include insurance.

◆ All orders shipping outside of the U.S. will include insurance.

◆ I ship ready-made pieces within 3 business days of receipt of payment and custom orders within 2-3 weeks of payment. These times are approximate--in most cases I ship a lot sooner!

◆ If you live outside of the U.S. please be aware of any custom/duties fees which will be your responsibility. I DO NOT falsify customs forms.

◆ Shipping Times:

--United States Customers: Expect that your package may take 10 business days (sometimes more, but usually less) to arrive once it has been shipped for First Class Mail. The busy Holiday season of November-December might influence these shipping times so please plan accordingly.

--International Customers: Expect your package to take several weeks to arrive! I cannot track an International package but in all the years I've been mailing my jewelry I have only ever had 1 package get "lost." This is why I buy insurance, but I cannot file a claim until it is at least 8 weeks past the shipping date. If you are buying something for a specific date you'll want to give yourself plenty of time for your order to arrive.

Q: How come you no longer stamp your jewelry with 14kt and sterling marks?

Did you know that under United States law, a jeweler is not required to quality stamp their jewelry? However, if he/she chooses to do so, they MUST also place their FEDERALLY REGISTERED trademark beside the quality stamp. I have not completed the process of registering my shop trademark, which means that I am unable to legally quality stamp newly fabricated gold or silver jewelry until it is approved. Under U.S. law as outlined by the Federal Trade Commission, my description of the item will suffice as an identification of the metal type until my trademark is approved.

Q: How do I find out my ring size?

Downloadable ring sizers can be found on the web but I highly recommend visiting a jeweler and getting properly sized. This service is free. Rings will be made in the size you provide so to avoid disappointment, please make sure you are 100% sure of your ring size before purchase. If you haven't been measured recently, I recommend getting properly sized again as fingers change over the years and what fit you 5 years ago may not be the case today. A general rule of thumb is that rings with wider bands will fit more snugly--sometimes as much as 2 whole sizes smaller if they are a particularly wide band. If you are ordering a custom ring, keep this rule of thumb in mind if you plan on stacking it with another as that will make it fit tighter than worn on it's own. Since I make many one-of-a-kind rings with wide bands, I will describe in the listing what size the ring would best fit even if it measures differently on a mandrel.

Q: Do you resize rings?

I'm sorry, but no. I understand this can be discouraging, especially if you a see a one-of-a-kind ring that you like that isn't in your size. I don't plan on stopping making jewelry anytime soon, though, so I'm sure that eventually you will find the ring that's meant for you. If you want to shoot me an email and let me know your ring size and what style of ring you are interested in I will keep you in mind the next time a similar one is constructed! :)

Q: Are you taking custom orders?

◆ At this time, the only custom work I am able to take on is for some of my simple metalsmithed jewelry which is already listed in my shop.

Q: How will my item(s) be packaged? Can I have it gift wrapped?

◆ I box up all of my orders prettily enough to give as a gift right out of the envelope! However, I am very mindful about how much paper products I use when I ship orders, therefore items will be combined into as little packaging as possible. That means if you order 3 pairs of earrings, for example, they will all go in the same jewelry box.

◆ I was taught to always say "thank you" so you will receive a note on a business card or postcard from me. I hope you don't mind the extra paper, but it would feel wrong to just stuff your order in an envelope without some note of thanks.

◆ I never include a receipt with orders and all of my labels/cards are printed on recycled paper with soy ink. My mailers are padded with recycled paper and my tissue paper is acid-free and made from 100% recycled fibers. My jewelry boxes are made in the USA with 100% recycled boxboard 80% recycled paper content. I rarely use bubble wrap, only when absolutely necessary, and it's always reused from a package that was sent to me. I encourage you to keep and reuse, too!

Q: Do you accept returns?

I understand how difficult it can be to purchase a ring online without being able to try it on in person first. Therefore, I will accept a return on my metalsmithed (non-custom) rings under certain conditions. Following are the criteria for returns:

◆ Contact me first so we can discuss your return
◆ Mail ring back to me within 5 days of receipt
◆ Ring must be in original/unworn condition
◆ Shipping is non-refundable

Once again, I am only accepting returns on my one-of-a-kind metalsmithed rings at this time. All other jewelry, including made-to-order/custom jewelry, is final sale.
