Smoke cleansing is the practice of using the smoke from various dried herbs for wellness and spiritual purposes. The smoke from these various herbs is believed to be able to attach itself to negative energies around you and turn them in positive vibrations.

Because negative energy can easily build up in all places of your home, especially after an disagreement between family members or during a troubling time, it is important to regularly use the practice of smoke cleansing to clear the space of any unwanted energies, leaving you with a calm, peaceful, and positive household.

Use one of our smoke cleansing products, such as Palo Santo or Sage, to cleanse the negative energy in your home. To cleanse, hold one end of Palo Santo or sage stick over a flame or candle for 10-20 seconds. Once the end of the Palo Santo is completely lit, blow the flame out and use the smoke to cleanse yourself and your space.

Slowly move the smoke cleanser around your body and your space that you wish to cleanse, and set any intentions that you wish to address during your cleanse.

When you are finished, extinguish your smoke cleanser by letting it burn out in a heat safe container, or extinguish immediately by pressing the lit side into your heat safe bowl.

Be sure to have a window or door open to allow smoke to exit the space.

Make sure to have a heat resistant bowl or surface to catch any falling debris from your sage or Palo Santo

Use sand or water to extinguish your sage or Palo Santo in an emergency.
