Dreamworld

My interest in creation began as a child, when I would escape the everyday and disappear into my own Dreamworld. I created places of beauty and fantasy to spend my free afternoons. As time passed, this transformed into stories, using color film, Polaroids and other experimental processes. Through a series of photographs, sometimes with prose, I would present glimpses of this Dreamworld - offering others a refuge from the monotony and mundane.

Today, this same passion is seen in my work with alcohol ink and resin. Each piece represents similar emotions and sensations as my earlier work, and can stand alone or in groups to tell the story. The expression of my hope, love and passion is infused into each creation, so that it may be sensed by others. I invite you to share a space where your Dreamworld can be experienced and cherished. This is what brings me joy in the world of fine art.

I am a Chicago-based artist, having recently received my BFA with a concentration in photography at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. My art as a photographer and writer has been published internationally in both digital and print magazines. I continue to shoot as a freelance photographer but also enjoy working with various mediums, as seen in my most current work with alcohol ink and resin. I hope to share this with you.

Returns and exchange details
Because of the nature of handmade art, each piece is one-of-a-kind. Bubbles or flecks in the resin coating happen occasionally, contributing to its uniqueness.

I hope you truly love your order. Please contact me, however, if you have any issues.
Payment
We accept most forms of payments.
Shipping
We are currently shipping only to the contiguous United States.

Shipping is via USPS Priority (1-3 business days). You will receive a tracking number once your order ships.

Larger pieces will ship via USPS Ground and may take up to 8 business days

I work very hard at preparing my artwork for shipment. I wrap each piece very carefully in order to make the journey safely to you. Turn around time is 1-2 days, though most often same or next day.
