Frequently asked questions
What is the size of the ceramic milk jug? And, does it come in other sizes?
The Ceramic Jugs are approx 5 inches in width, with an approx 3.5" opening and is approx. 10 inches tall. We use approximations as each one may vary just slightly during their curation. *We do not offer this item in any other sized at this time
Can I put water, with live flowers, in the ceramic milk jug vases?
IF YOU WILL BE USING LIVE FLOWERS, WE RECOMMEND USING A WATER CYLINDER INSIDE THE VASE, FOR HOLDING THE WATER, OR A WATER TRAY. TO AVOID LEAKING ONTO YOUR DISPLAY SURFACE.
Although there has not been issues reported, this is a suggested precaution as these ceramic vases are *NOT guaranteed waterproof. During the firing process that the ceramic containers go through, the heat can cause micro fractures in the glaze. The glaze is what would make the vase waterproof. Therefore, We cannot be held responsible for leaking jugs.
Is the personalization engraved, painted on, or vinyl?
The designs on the Ceramic milk jug are done in outdoor grade vinyl. This is the same type of vinyl used for vehicle decals. It is designed to withstand weathering and washing. Once the design is on the jug, it cannot be removed without "intentional" removal such as scraping with a sharp edge. This piece is created to be both unique and timeless and that is precisely why we make the design to last! We want it to be a personal piece- an heirloom- that you can treasure and pass down through the years.
The personalization on the Coir doormats is flocked. We offer both the original coir as well as the DURA-coir (all weather) doormats in the shop! More detail is provided when you click on the doormat listings.
Can I request a custom design?
Absolutely! Send a picture of a design you have in mind, or a description, and we will be happy to create it for you! There is no additional fee for custom designs.
Can I request a different font or color? And, is the color on the listing photos brown or black?
Different Font?: Absolutely! We offer an unlimited supply of fonts! Any font found on www.dafont.com we can use for you, at no additional cost!
Different Color?: Absolutely! If you want a different color, send a message and we'll see if we have it in stock. We keep most colors on hand, so if we do, we will certainly do that for you, at no extra cost to you! So, just ask!
*Doormats can only be done in black at this time*
*Standard personalization color for the ceramic milk jugs is a dark brown that looks black from a distance. This color looks best with the distressing on the jug and really stands out beautifully!
Why is shipping costly? And, do you offer WHOLESALE??
Shipping costs for items are estimated, at the time of your checkout, based on the items weight and where it is being shipped to. The price is then calculated and determined by USPS according to their standard rates. This service is integrated through Etsy. Since we do not control USPS, we cannot control or adjust the shipping prices that they charge us to send a vase, or other item, to you. Everybody has to make some money, honey :)
