***PRODUCTION TIME is 3-6 BUSINESS DAYS & REGULAR US SHIPPING takes 2-5 BUSINESS DAYS, so it can take up to 2 weeks for US orders to arrive. INTERNATIONAL ORDERS can take 2-6 weeks to arrive depending on the country. So please plan ahead accordingly. If you need it sooner please read below under the "Rush Orders" section. Expedited shipping is also available for purchase during the checkout.

Please check your email for shipping notifications and tracking numbers. Holidays may delay production times.You should also be able to get tracking number by going to the "Purchases" section on your account here on Etsy. Please note that shipping upgrades only speed up the shipping time and not the production time.

Please order at least 2 weeks in advance to have guaranteed arrival in time for holidays. After the deadline shipping upgrades and paying a rush fee is recommended to get an order in time. (See below for info on shipping upgrades and rush fees)

*~Current production time is 2-5 business days for all orders and regular US shipping takes 2-5 business days as well. Faster shipping options are available during the checkout. Priority mail: (2-3 Business Days)-Insurance included up to $50. Express Mail: (1-2 Business Days)-Insurance included up to $100. International shipping often takes between 1-4 weeks to arrive. The average is about 10 days, however, it can take longer if the package is held up in customs.

Production time for all orders is 2-5 business days unless you paid a rush fee. Regular US shipping takes 2-5 business days and international shipping can take 1-4 weeks depending on the country. Tracking is available for all orders. You should be able to get tracking number by going to the "Purchases" section on your account. International orders may only show tracking while the package is in the US. Only certain countries show tracking all the way through it being delivered.

If you need your order fast please see my shop for the "Rush Your Order" listing. The rush fee is $10 and gets your order shipped in 1-2 business days. (May not be available during December- feel free to check with me to make sure)

Included for all packages. If your order is lost or damaged during shipping you will be able to make a claim. The claim usually takes between 2-3 weeks to be processed.

Lauren Elaine Designs is dedicated to exceptional customer service. It is my policy to give you the best possible experience in my shop!


I accept Pay Pal. You may cancel your order before the item has been made to receive a full refund. Once an item is made there are no refunds if it is customized in any way. Once an item is shipped, the shipping costs are non-refundable.


I ship my items using a padded envelope via first class shipping or by USPS flat rate shipping box. Shipping usually takes 2-5 days. You can upgrade shipping to Priority Mail which only takes 2-3 business days or Express mail which takes 1-2 business days. Shipping charges are nonrefundable.

International Shipping usually takes 2-4 weeks depending on the country. Some orders may be held up in customs causing delays. I am not responsible for any delays that can be caused from going through customs. Expedited shipping is available during the checkout for international orders. The post office guarantees the delivery dates for the expedited shipping options.

Tracking numbers for your order are sent via email from Etsy. You should also be able to find your tracking number by going to Your Account > Purchase & Reviews. International orders do have tracking number but most of the time it will only be updated while it is still in the US. Only some countries update all the way through to delivery.

If your items are lost in the mail and the post office is unable to find it for you, your package does have insurance. I will be able to file an insurance claim 20 days after the ship date for US orders or 40 days after the ship date for international orders. Once the claim has been filed it takes about 3 weeks for the insurance company, Shipsurance, to process it and send payment. Shipsurance will likely need the customer to sign a "Buyer Verification". I will send you the link to the form. Once I receive the payment I will be able to send you a refund, less the insurance fee or a replacement.

If the item is returned back to me from the post office, the buyer must pay for a new shipping label for me to reship the item.

Etsy Conversations is the best way to contact me. Email works too but I usually don't respond as quickly to emails as Etsy Conversations. If you email me there is a chance that your email will go into my spam mailbox and I may miss it.

Refunds and Exchanges

Refunds accepted within 30 days of purchase. I will refund your order when it is returned back to me. All merchandise must be returned in its original condition in order to receive a full refund. Return shipping is at the buyer's expense. Custom orders cannot be refunded. Shipping costs are nonrefundable under any circumstance.

Packages are insured against damage. If there is a problem please let me know and I file a claim. Please note that the insurance company will likely need you to fill out some forms. Be sure to keep the packaging and item in case the insurance company needs proof of the damage. (There is a possibility that I will be unable to replace the exact item you ordered but I am willing to make an item as close as possible to the original.)

If an order was not received in the mail please double check the tracking number. If it hasn't been updated in several days it is likely that it was lost. Insurance is included with all orders so I can help you file a claim after a 20 day waiting period (US orders) from the ship date. The claim process usually takes between 3 weeks to go through. So it can take 6 weeks for the entire process.

If there was a misspelling on your order, contact me and send me a picture of my mistake and I will redo your order at no cost to you. All of my custom orders are stamped exactly as typed by the purchaser. So please be sure that your spelling and your message is exactly as you want it to appear. I cannot be held responsible if the message you typed is incorrect.

If no instructions are left with the order, (i.e what phrase you want on the piece) I will assume that you didn't read the description, and send the item shown in the first picture of the listing. But if you chose anything in the drop down menus, then I will use the what you chose from the drop down menu, and not what was used in the first picture. i.e. font, color, metal type etc. I will try to use all of the information you have given me.

If instructions are vague or incomplete, I will reserved the right to use my discretion on how to arrange the stampings. I will try to make the item the best way I can with the instructions that are provided. To avoid this please be sure to read the item's descriptions for instructions on how to order.

Refunds are not given for the stamps being crooked or off center. Please do not expect any hand stamped items to be perfect as I stamp each letter individually. The process is very different from traditional engraving, which carves a light groove into the metal. Stamping is a more forceful technique, where each individual letter, number and symbol is stamped by hand, one at a time with a hammer and steel stamp. This is much deeper than engraving and therefore, there will probably be a slight impression on the other side. I have no control of preventing these impressions so no refunds are given for the slight impressions on the back side as well.

Be sure to read the listing's descriptions because they will tell you everything you need to know about how to order a custom item. Most of the time the last pictures in the listing show the fonts, picture stamps, colors, and metal types I have available for a particular item. So please click through all of the pictures so you aren't missing anything.

The best/quickest way to contact me is through Etsy Conversations. I prefer contact through Etsy as it is easier for me to connect your messages back to your order. Emails are fine as well but they may be missed because they can go into my spam mailbox.
