This bee ring was definitely worth the pairs perfectly next to my chocolate diamond evening ring and I am so very pleased with both the quality of the item and the professional service offered by the seller. Highly recommended!!

New in shop - Every day sterling silver cuff set with a lovely misty blue chalcedony.
I lived in Arizona during high school, and was crazy about horses. I finally started riding again last year, and am starting a cowgirl and horse jewelry collection! I ride both English and Western, so will have both in my collection as well.

A little metalsmith shop in a 1935 cottage....

I've had an an eclectic career path ranging from innkeeper/chef to freight pilot to computer programmer, but creating jewelry has been a passion and a constant that kept the rest of my life in perspective. I'm delighted to be able to do it full time now, and feel like it is what I was always meant to do.

Even though my metalsmithing studio is in the basement, my bench is in front of a window overlooking my beloved rugosa rose surrounded by lavender. This year there is a pair of cardinals raising a family in the rose bush, too. (Yep, it's a very large rose bush!)

I must admit I’m a messy creator. When I have an idea, I start putting parts together and shaping metal, but often don’t have time to finish it right then. This means I have quite a collection of little boxes filled with “works in progress” all over my bench. I can’t bring myself to put them away, because I have to doodle with them when the creative urge hits – often while I’m waiting for something in the pickle pot, or when I need to give my hands a break from stone setting or hammering.

Making my jewelry is truly a labor of love, and I enjoy the process as much as the end result. Almost all of my pieces are made from scratch from raw sheet and wire. I still polish by hand, too - I love the soft shine this produces, as well as the ability to highlight details. I am inspired by the colors, shapes and living creatures that I see in my daily walks through my garden, so most of my work has a natural, organic look.

One of the best parts of my job is the wonderful customers I meet. My pieces are meant to be worn, and they will last a lifetime. It is always a joy to create something with special meaning that will be treasured for years to come!

I've always had a passion for jewelry, especially rings. After learning to fuse silver in a distance learning class almost a decade ago, I have been using hammer and torch to bring metal alive!
