I was the definition of left brain. Six years in college with a degree and masters in accounting. Working sixty plus hours a week in a cubical churning out spreadsheet after spreadsheet for the man. A couple years out of college and I quickly realized the creative imagination that thrived during my childhood had withered to a tiny speck. And I wanted it back ASAP!
I set up a craft studio in my house and began experimenting with jewelry making. Lazy Owl Boutique was born in May 2011 when I finally transitioned to a new job that gave me more time to craft outside of the work week.
Having a creative outlet and running my own business outside of cubical nation has been such a rewarding experience for me. Once I turned on the faucet of creative juices I can't seem to stop it! I have so many ideas on the back burner I can't wait to explore once I have the time, and I'm sure you'll see all of them pop up eventually at Lazy Owl!
I design and craft by hand every item you see in my shop with pride. I love working with customers on custom orders, whether it be for a wedding or just a special request. My products have shipped to all corners of the globe, and are featured locally in the Houston Heights at a new shop called Roundtable Goods.

Sales tax of 8.25% will be calculated and charged for all buyers located in Texas.
Domestic shipment is made via First Class Mail through the USPS and takes approximately 3-5 days. Delivery confirmation is included. Please contact me before payment if you would like to upgrade your shipping method for an additional fee.
The domestic shipping price for most items is $3 for the first item, and no extra shipping charge is added for additional items.
International shipping is generally done via First Class International Mail through the USPS, and takes around 2 weeks. Occasionally, international items can take as long as 4-6 weeks via this method. Tracking is not available for international shipments. Please contact me before payment if you would like to upgrade your international shipping method for an additional fee. I am not responsible for items searched in customs or otherwise delayed during the international shipping process.
The buyer is responsible for all customs and duty fees when applicable.
Items will be shipped to your PayPal address for orders paid via Paypal, and to your Etsy address for orders paid via Direct Check-out. Please ensure that your listed address is correct. Please let me know if you wish for me to ship the item elsewhere.
The shipping cost includes handling and packaging. My items are all shipped in be-ribboned sturdy kraft jewelry boxes placed inside weatherproof bubble mailers to prevent damage. If possible, multiple items will be mailed in the same kraft box and/or same mailer to reduce weight. If the order is for gifts you would like in multiple individual boxes, please let me know during check out.
Refunds and Exchanges
If you are unsatisfied with your purchase and would like a a refund, contact me within 7 days of receiving your item to let me know. I will refund your item (minus shipping charges) once I receive the returned merchandise.
Sorry, but returns are not accepted on the following:
- international orders
- custom orders
- items that have been worn
- items that are received as damage upon return arrival
Refunds will also not be accepted for purchasing a non-adjustable ring that ends up not being your correct size and does not fit. Please make sure you know your correct ring size before ordering.
I do everything I can to safely package my items to ensure my jewelry does not arrived damaged.
