I can’t say enough about the quality, craftsmanship and beauty of this ring. Was made and delivered a short time. The most unique and well-priced wood, opal with copper inlay ring I’ve ever seen. When it catches the light it really does outshine the rest. I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend to all.

Excellent customer service! We are really enjoying our new lamp, and it is absolutely beautiful.
Lazy River Woodwork creates beautiful woodworks using greenwood and reclaimed wood.
We started Lazy River Woodwork to share what we have been creating with greenwood and reclaimed wood.
We start the process of creating a beautiful work of art out of wood by reclaiming trees and wood destined for the garbage dump or the shredded chip pile. Most of the time this wood comes to us as greenwood which is by it's very nature newly cut fresh wood with a high moisture content. The unique aspects of this rejected wood are exactly what we are looking for. The wood contains worm holes, spalting (wood rot), coloring, grain patterns and figuring from the crotch of the tree, or from burls, or from natural twists in the tree.
We hand cut and split the wood and then depending on what it will become we either plane the wood into slabs or split the wood into bowl blanks or spindle pieces. We then turn our lamps and bowls on a foot powered lathe and hand plane the benches, table tops and cutting boards.
Each piece reveals itself in this process and we have the great privilege of seeing it all come out in the final beautiful piece.
The only hard part is staying receptive to the whole process and keeping an open mind to what the wood itself is revealing to us.

I had the pleasure of purchasing two hand made rustic cherry lamps as a gift and could not have been more pleased with the quality of work, meticulous finish and attention to artistry. Lazy River Woodwork has a remarkable talent for creating unique and functional works of art by showcasing the inherent beauty in nature. I look forward to making another purchase and would recommend any of their products.
I invite you to look around the shop and see what you like. New listings are added often so give us a favorite to stay up to date.
Down in the wood shop, you can find me handcrafting and turning unique wooden creations such as, lamps, serving trays, cutting boards, benches, and the like.
The wood I use for handcrafting is mostly reclaimed wood from Western Pennsylvania. I've been finding Cherry, Walnut, Flame Box Elder, and other local trees.
I try not to force the wood in becoming something, but rather listening to the wood and allowing it to become what it wants to be.
I hope you bring a unique Lazy River Woodwork creation into your home.
Message me for custom orders, I'd be glad to work with you.

I'll be glad to consider it, and will let you know quickly if it's something I can do or not.
I am open to wholesale and consignment opportunities for some items, please ask if you are interested.
