Announcement   Thank you for visiting my Etsy shop - I strive to make good quality affordable art inspired from India! I believe art need not be very expensive to be good. It should be affordable and bring joy to your life.

All my paintings are completely hand drawn and painted with brush and gouache colors without the use of ready-to-use or quick fix products. Each of them take days of work to complete the intricate painting process and hence you will find only a few artworks at any given time and you can be assured of great quality and craftsmanship. I do not believe in using colored pens, stamps or any kind of factory like processes to churn out a large number of paintings in a period of time. I like to take time and immerse myself in the joy of painting and use only brush and water based gouache colors to finish the delicate work. All this hard work results in a beautiful, one of a kind painting and you can be sure its completely hand made for the joy of it and not factory churned to sell. About

Colors of India

Growing up in a cultural melting pot like India, I had the opportunity to see the country from up close. I was delighted by the unique and colorful art forms from different regions of India.

Faraway in Los Angeles, I still yearn to be a part of the mystical India. The stories I carry with me from home shape my brush strokes. The beauty of the land and the riot of colors in India are my inspirations.

I work in my home studio which is a simple space that inspires me to create these exquisite pieces of art. All my artworks are wrapped with hand block printed wrapping paper made with love by me!

Having worked as an IT professional for many years I decided to quit my day job and instead concentrate on my passion for painting. Since each painting takes days of preparation, I spend my time doing what I like best!

I use acid free paper and eco-friendly water based gouache colors to make these paintings. I love to pack all my items myself by hand and use notes and tags handmade by me. I enjoy using my creativity to make these small tokens of love - tags and notes. All items are wrapped with hand block printed wrapping paper lovingly made by me.

All items are well packaged to ensure safe delivery without any damage. The big framed paintings are all packaged with reused corrugated cardboard and packing materials to leave as little trace as possible on the environment. All framed paintings are shipped in a box.

If you want any of your items to be gift wrapped and delivered to your recipient, please let me know when you purchase them. I can wrap them and send it to your recipients address adding a hand written note with your message.
